Orbit Lines shader fix for AMD 6000 graphic cards

i copier the d3dx.ini and shaderfixes to the game folder . i dont understand what you mean with ( in attachment )

Quite clearly that's a quote from the post on the first page is all, I didn't say that the OP did, I am just asking if you did all the steps listed in the post.

If you exactly follow the steps in the opening post you can't go wrong.
It works flawless on my RX6800

The instructions didn't say, copy the shaderfixes to the game folder, the instructions say copy the "folder" called shaderfixes to the game folder, there's a distinct but subtle difference there. We are just trying to find out if you followed the instructions properly, your reply seems a little ambiguous.
 
This apparently no longer works as of the 18.08 update as their "fix" has fixed it, but has a glitch turning it off only takes effect after a jump to the next system. Sigh. I have uninstalled the 3dmigoto files
 
I followed the steps exactly, and now the game crashes upon launch. I expect it's because I'm playing on Linux.
The same thing happened to me on my Linux-based HTPC (all AMD). I didn't look into it beyond that because that's not my primary ED PC. The primary PC has an NVidia card, so no need there.
 
Yes the fix should not be needed anymore, you can remove the files.
Orbit lines are fixed on my radeon RX6800 and linux (and also fixed on windows from the people in EDHM discord).

Now there's a new bug when disabling the orbit lines, but FDev will probably fix it as it impacts everyone :)
