Went there last night. The Anaconda has been replaced with a crashed Federal Navy viper. No cargo to be had.
Also nearby is a defence turret protected surface mining operation. Only thing there was one shield emitter.
Thanks Commander for the report. That is one of the places I would have very much wanted to eventually revisit....
Cry. That Anaconda was a godsend for me. Not only could I stock up on Antimony, Tungsten, Tellurium, and Ruthenium. But I also learned to drive the SRV in less then optimal conditions and to ever more quickly travel to destinations using the current Lat/Long tools. All because my pysche said the rewards were worth the effort, i.e., the benefits outweigh the costs. Well, that has nailed the coffin for my playing for now. Hopefully in the future new mechanics will be introduced.
I, and I think some other Commanders, do not enjoy roaming around planets in a bouncy srv shooting at rocks. Mindless busywork for
rng results. In comparison, I now much prefer doing long neglected housework, busywork with
guaranteed results. Due to boredom, I stopped playing Elite, but peruse the forums because I love the concept of Elite Dangerous and because I love the Commanders who play it and am interested in their thoughts..... and trials. Needless to say, our house is finally getting cleaned and I may even venture to do some actual landscaping and maybe renovation! As a 52-year-old somewhat old fashioned woman I was really scared of chainsaws. We have some little trees that need to be removed because they eventually will be a safety hazard. And we have lots of trees that need pruning. I was spending 10-15 hours a week playing Elite. At first it was a blast, then after 800 hours the boredom set. But I played another 200 hours anyway. Then I looked at our backyard. Then I looked at my current personal Elite game play experience . NO. I will not spend my precious time compulsively grinding. So I bucked up and learned about chainsaw usage and most importantly chainsaw safety. I am not scared anymore. Knowledge dispels fear. There are positives to every situation. Society says video games are supposed to be fun and housework boring. Happily, I have learned otherwise; many others will disagree. It's all relative.
