OSVR HDK hangs

Hi all,
I can get other games running in Steam VR but Elite Dangerous VR just has spinning sidewinder forever.
Menus and everything seem to work okay upto point I try and load a game in.
Anyone got any suggestions or is there a Vive thread where this has been discussed.

PS on previous boot I had half a screen working but a big blue square to right hand side (same both HMD screens)
Next boot I didn't get that weird artifact but game won't start as hangs on spinning sidewinder (no crash, just spinning sidewinder)

Okay a little more testing and it loads training missions okay so will raise a ticket.
Even so any help or suggestions meanwhile would be great.

Bump.
Has anyone else got a OSVR HDK 2.0?
If so is Elite Dangerous working for you?
I raised a ticket but have heard nothing back yet

It is a dev kit. FD may come back with "unsupported". Or it may just sit on the "low priority" pile for half of forever.

The official stance is that it's both a dev kit and for the consumer. Which sounds like "hey it's nearly sort of working as we hoped, but as it's open source it's getting worked on all the time so...".

I have yet to see a single review of the thing that describes a mature product.

After eagerly awaiting the HDK2 for a few months, I'm actually quite relived that Amazon delayed shipping for a few days and gave me a chance to cancel the order and get a CV1 instead. Sorry, no help for you Mucka, I'm just glad that I'm not having to deal with what you are going through. The silence on the HDK2 has been deafening. You have my sympathies. [sad]
