Dinosaurs Outruning predators

I would love it if medium and small dinosaurs that do not have a fighting animation got a chance at escaping predators. It would require a few sets of animations where the predator chases the prey for a short distance but is outrun.

I agree, considering that modern predators have a failure rate it would be a nice feature, though I could imagine different dinos having different rates, like comparing lions to cheetahs, though maybe not too accurate, seeing as lions only have about a 20% success rate and Cheetahs have about a 60% success rate (which is really good in reality, though for the purpose of the game it should probably be increased from that).

Yes!!

Ideally, I would prefer to have an ambush mechanism and an engaged chase-running mechanism.

If those are too much of a request, I can settle for a simple alternative escape animation. The details are here as you supported months ago.

they need to have another movement mechanics
