Overhaul combat by bringing missiles into the fold.

Combat in elite has gotten a bit stale and easy. Instead of changing anything about the AI or the jitter or the thermals or whatnot, we need to look at missiles. Right now missiles are kind of pointless. We need to up their capacity and their damage. We also need to give players a use-it-or-lose-it class 1 missile hardpoint on military ships to encourage their use.
Once missiles start doing real damage, point defense and ECM will again have a purpose, players will see the rebuy screen more often, and combat will become more varied overall.
 
With missiles abilities to reboot FSDs, damage internal modules and generate heat I see them as secondary weapons in support of the primary ones. PvP wings love them. Add a torpedo boat and it will be a bad day for someone.

 
Not sure what you're on about OP but my missile krait wrecks pirates and bounties alike, hell, czs are fun times as well, PDs and ECMs are used plenty, though it amazes me more when I actually see an npc with an ECM.

What I would PREFER is if we could synth a FULL RELOAD instead of half, it's completely stupid how missiles get screwed compared to all the other weapons when synthesizing ammo, especially with the costs of those synths.
