Pad Hogging

I am now recording the names of all CMDRs I encounter who are taking overly long on outpost pads, especially the sole medium pad, and will treat them the same way I treat CMDRs who interdict, fire upon, scan, or ram my vessel.

You "politely tap" them on the shoulder? :D

The game could easily put players who idle in stations beyond a certain time limit into a temporary solo instance where they will have to leave that instance in order to re-join wing mates etc.

It's not hard and actually a much more preferable solution.

Given that a lot of people's comparison of Elite: Dangerous is 'Space Trucking', I'd say the queuing system is pretty authentic anyway.
In the real world, if you have a delivery to make to a busy business with limited bays, you take a ticket and you wait your turn.

Roleplayin' it up! :D

You can put me on your black list right away, eventually you will run into me.
I do any kind of things while sitting AFK in my ship. Think about a trucker who is sleeping in his truck. If you wake him up and make him angry, he might slap you once or twice :)

Yes,
I know that I trade, plan routes, read Galnet, comfort break, but after 10 minutes with polite messages I'd still had no response - even a "soon " response would have worked (ie the Cmdr was still alive)...

I ended up save/restart in solo, then docked, saved & back to open...

Cheers

Colin

They could of been using the space ports bathroom. :)

Please add me to that list, I need a good fight.
