Panther clipper please

I hope the large ships are coming too.

Before the introduction of the four ships last year we had 13 small ships (14 if we include the elusive Cobra Mk IV), 15 medium ships and 9 large ships.

With the expected Gutamaya Corsair, we will have 26.7% more medium ships, 7.7% more small ships and 0% more large ships.

We'd need another 2.5 small ships and 2.6 large ships to equalise the relative increases between ship sizes. Put differently, we need 3 new small ships and 3 new large ships to spread the love evenly over the fleet as a whole.

I was expecting the new ship to be something like the Imperial Trader, something between the Cutter and the Panther, and aligned with the new colonisation feature.

Just to mention what could be some 'fresh' alternative to the Panther, if for whatever the reason Frontier is holding its implementation.

Now we got the Corsair, which is wonderful, but useless for colonisation, and we will have to wait for the next ship roulette until... June? Oh well, no complain here.

+1 for XL hauler.
For small ship I would be very happy to have jumper with C5 FSD, weight <100-120 t and cooling capacity of Cobra V as a next-generation DBX.

Well, one thing is definitely missing from colonization - huge ship like Panther Clipper with 1500t capacity. Now it takes 30 round trips with cutter just to offload carrier full of goods to colonization ship. It would be nice if this is less tedious.
never happen, won't fit the L pad. at best it will be an LTE with roughly a little more than your type 9

New end of 2025 feature: docking and management of very large ships.
New end of 2025 ship: Panther Clipper!

No, i'm dreaming, it's not going to happen

We can see T9 on landing pad and cargo containers, length of those is comparable to width of T9. Similar containers could be seen at Odyssey Settlements.
Question: How those containers got there?
Perhaps, it would be safe enough to assume that could exist some sort of Hauler which is able to land with 3-4 of those containers (BTW, not necessary on the landing pad). For sure it will work only on low G bodies, but, it could be a game changer for Colonization, IMHO.

Well, you had me thinking that panther clipper could be big enough to dock a small (or even medium) class ship inside of it to haul down goods on high g planets!
That would add to a new feature!

All of the existing "biggest" ship designs have a lot of wasted space. None of them fill a Large pad.

The T9/T10 could be about twice as long.

The Beluga could be about twice as wide if it didn't have those big fins sticking out.

The Cutter has a lot of unused volume between the central hull and the outriggers.

A huge brick that fills the pad could have a substantially greater capacity than these.

Yep. Here's my Type 9 on a pad:

Loads of room left.

Lets not rewards shoddy game design with new ship sales, and instead demand that the colonisation experience not be 30 round tips (on the entry level) to build a singular outpost. Powerplay 2.0 demonstrate they could do more than single activity grindfests, they should be able to make colonisation not a single activity grindfest, particularly not if its activity that is to stay.

I prefer to think of it as awarding those of us who have been waiting for it for 10+ years. The boost to colonisation would be a nice, but wholly incidental bonus.
