The physics has some similarities with asset transport. Instead of a boat for attachment, a simple tiny coaster could be attached to a track.
The tiny coaster would ignore animals and vehicles, with the rope phasing through.
The track piece could determine the speed of the pulling coaster, or maybe the length of rope.
The rope length would retract to fit the vehicle in the station.
The attraction could be land or lagoon based (preferably both).
Alternatively, for free gliders, it could be set up the same way as ziplines, with two stations and an invisible path that is roughly followed.
