I think it was awesome that when I handed in the cartographic data at Trailblazer Echo I got nothing for the CG until after I relogged. /s

The CG instructions should include relogging the game if you don't seem to get any CG credit.

You did get CG credit immediately, you just didn't check the mission board.

The left-hand transactions panel is notoriously slow to update, but the mission board is immediate.
Ya, that's awesome. Maybe the CG instructions can also explain that ship-side data is often not updated, so reboot the game for updates. Whether it be mission data, fines, bounties you paid off, etc. It could say "When in doubt about any info, simply reboot the game. This isn't a bug, its a futuristic feature.". (y)

The Dark Wheel is the name given to a legendary group of adventurers, explorers, investigators and treasure-hunters, the existence of which is so lacking in corroborative evidence that it is generally considered a myth. The group is often mentioned in connection with the equally unsubstantiated 'Raxxla'.

I imagine a lot of the issues with needing to relog to show things like permit unlocks, CG updates, rank updates, etc., is due to the fact that the game server is only updating your info when you change instances, such as "frame-shifting" or disembarking on a fleet carrier
Nope. Some ingame status things require a relog to update. Not consistently. But if you don't relog you might find yourself traveling to various interstellar factors wondering why you can't clear your wanted status.

Those who believe in the existence of the Dark Wheel consider it to be a continuous and clandestine organisation, operating since the very earliest days of interstellar travel.

It is also weird that when a CG is done there is no ingame indication what a player is supposed to do to collect rewards. After all these years of players asking "how do I get my rewards?" or "I never got my rewards". A simple sentence explaining what happens upon CG completion and how/when the rewards are to be collected would be... pretty normal for a game quest. Instead of just leaving the player hanging.

How? When? The CG is done. Clicking on the map symbol shows me nowhere to go.
This CG is complete. We already passed a Thursday tick. Or the CG missed the tick by a couple hours? not sure. Are rewards gonna magically show up somewhere? Where? When? A week from now?
Just one sentence could explain this.

Yes, I have played this game long enough to know the rewards eventually show up. I don't need forum do-gooders missing the point and explaining to me how to get my rewards. The point is the game doesn't say it.

In other RPG style games with missions, when the mission is complete I get the rewards immediately. Or provide an explanation on how/when to collect. That is what I am accustomed to.
