Passenger Missions Are Broken and Impossible

I have spent 4 hours last night and 4 hours today trying to complete the "Sightseeing" passenger missions. They DO NOT work. Frontier also appears to not allow tickets to be created, nor do they post their contact information anywhere. So reporting the bug is impossible as well.

The Mission: Person Blah Blah wants a sightseeing tour to X.

What I did: Plotted a route to the target system, and jumped there ASAP.

What happened: 2 systems prior to arrival the client got upset that we weren't there yet. I got there ASAP, and losing points is ridiculous. Then the only thing showing up in the Contacts tab of the navigation pane was a Nav Beacon. I had to sit there with the Nav Beacon targeted and sitting 7m away from my craft for almost 10 mins before anything happened. I received a message saying he wanted to go to planet Y. I go to planet Y. He says he wants food canisters. I land on the planet. Nothing. I found some drones flying around canisters. Food canisters. I used the cargo scoop to acquire them. Nothing happened. I landed again. Nothing happened. I set my auto-orbit and launched off the planet. Nothing happened. I found (manually, it did not exist in the contacts tab) something called "Ring close up". Which is one of the things mentioned in the job. I get to within 400km......it disappears. I flew back out again. Locked onto the icon. Flew back down and landed right next to the ground beacon. Nothing. Ran every scan on my ship with it targeted. Nothing. Flew back out. Nothing. The only other thing mentioned is "Blue Jewel". It doesn't exist in the contacts tab, and I cannot visually find it. The only thing listed on the contact tab is the planet itself. Even sitting on the planet surface it says the planet is 1.08 Mm away. I've landed on the sunny side, the dark side, and in between. The range never changes. A million dollar contract.....8 hours wasted.....and nothing to show for it. It really seems like the only "Authorized" ways to play this game is to be a miner or a fighter. I really don't want to do either.

Only $1 Million? Hmm. Well, if you like doing these, when they work, all good. But if you'd like to do passenger missions and make much better money, then I would suggest Robigo. It's boring, but safe, works, and makes good money. Like, a single 'passenger" to SA (two jumps and back) will pay anywhere from a low of that $1M to a high of $5M.

Just depends on what you like, and I get you don't like bugged missions. Robigo takes a little ship setup, but once you have the ship setup, you're good to go and keep going, making a lot of money as a tourist bus driver.

Word of caution... drop into SA, scan beacon, and set sail back to Robigo right away. Do NOT hang around if you have an "Illegal Passenger" onboard. I learned that the hard way by trying to snap a picture. Ha!

They seem to work for everyone else. For starters, reading the mission description (all of it) in your left HUD panel should tell you what you need to do next. That description gets updated every time you accomplish one step.
How about you post a screenshot (will probably need two or three, that mission descriptions tend to place the interesting stuff at the bottom) of that mission description from your left HUD panel?

Ignore everything the passengers say. Just do the mission and get the reward. You go to the system with the nav marker in your galaxy map. When you get there, honk your discovery scanner, then look in your nav panel for the blue writing that indicates which planet to go to. Fly to the planet. When you get within 1000 ls, the misssion target will appear in your nav panel. Target it, go there, drop-out and scan it, then go back to the station and collect your money. There are no missions that are more simple. Go to robigo mines amd make billions stacking those missions in a shieldless Python.

Exactly ... ignore the "Passenger Requires 5 Washing Machines" or whatever they want. Ha! I remember falling for that time sink when I first ran a passenger mission. "So 'n so wants 5 units of meat" Huh?! Wat?! Sit down and shut up!!! 😆

Sorry sir, but does this ship look like a freighter? There are no parent loving cargo racks on this ship.
