Passengers and Eploration rank

That didnt really answer my question but im asking about normal exploration scan data.

Not every response is in answer to your question. I was clearly responding to the original question posted.
Speculating about your question.
It will only be on new data collected. No retroactive . Lmao.

Sure about that? Others were saying it wasn't clear/ decided yet.
I'm not too bothered either way. But extra cash is always nice.

Lmfao. What is with people here? I clearly said "speculating". So clearly, no I don't know for sure. But why would you get a retroactive increase? Lmao.

Do we know how much it will be nerfed? I mean right now completing a 1 million CR mission counts as 1 million CR for the corresponding rank (profit for trading, exploration data for exploration). Will it be halved after the update? Or even worse? Have the developers commented on this?

It is already half in 2.2.

1 million CR mission is worth 2 million worth of data. In the patch notes for 2.3 they describe exploration rank boost as "way too high", so expect it to be considerably less than 50%.

Either as a result of the nerf or a bug, tourist missions themselves in the beta got nerfed harshly in regards to payout. Jaques trips were only paying out 9m. Not sure if thats changed. But the nerf is likely to be pretty significant, possibly based on a flat gain, not the credits earned.

Adam Waite has seen screenshots of comparisons of the payouts between the versions and seems to know where the problem is, so hopefully they will restored by the time it goes live.
