Patch 3.3.2. Any news?

Hi all. After the 3.3.1 disaster and Christmas holidays are gone, there are not news from Frontier about 3.3.1 fixes. Are you working on a stable patch, guys? Can you cover the lack of news? I think you have to improve your Comms about that, the players, customers need to know what you are doing about that. More players are very disappointed about the no news from you. We want to know when you can give us a stable game and solve all the issues. Thank you.

Disaster ?, I must have missed it.

There's been a few server side patches already for stability if you read around.

How can you describe bugged wings, bugged wars, bugs in BGS, bugs in trading and mining, continuos crashes? Is it everything ok for you? I respect your opinion, but don't be blind about the issues.

It's always difficult to consider something broken when you don't experience the issues. For someone who has all these problems it's probably a disaster. I didn't experience a single major problem in the last 30 hours playing the game, which doesn't mean that they don't exist, but just that 3.3 isn't a disaster for me. I guess both views are valid.

Supposed to be coming this week. Saying that I wouldn't call it a disaster otherwise nobody would be playing. Seems to be a major success so far overall. Hopefully the patch will help with the issues you have.

I'm talking about the issues in the last month with the introduction of the 3.3.1. 30 hours with no issues maybe is good for you, if you don't have to manage a crapping new BGS bugged system or facing bugged wars. My request is only please give us news about their work for to solve the issues.

The patch has been less than the normal standard, its true, but Devs also clean stuff like this up pretty quickly?

Overall the game is better, more fun, all the tin says - my beef is the server-side issues since the new provider came on board, freezing, juddering, that kind of thing. Never got that before, but I think its the server bandwidth provider, not Devs.

My input.

Asking for news is perfectly reasonable.

They usually don't announce a date for minor patches, because they release them when they are ready, which makes quite a lot of sense.

If you just want an announcement about wether they are working on it... I guess it's a safe bet to assume they are.

Personally I expect the patch this week, but might be wrong ;)

Thing is, other people play other aspects of the game to you, which are, believe me, hideously broken.

The freezing is something from the patch, we all have it.

Some comments would be worthy of Frankenstein Junior: "Bugs? What bugs?".
The bugs are there, and they are impacting.
I stopped playing few days after the patch waiting for the necessar repairs. I lost the fighter pilot, that I had hardly made to grow up to Elite, because of a bug that prevented me from landing while I was under the Thargoid corrosive effect, I fought for nothing a war that in the end did not give the victory to the winning faction. This makes it senseless for me to keep playing the game.
The problem is not even these bugs: it's normal considering the new contents. The real problem is the lack of information from FDEV. I think it would be enough something like "we are working on these problems and we expect to give you feedback towards the end of January" or any date, or something like this.
In this way people would have freedom to make their decisions about the game. This silence seems to me very unprofessional.

IIRC they said something like that.

I suggest to anyone that isn't aware of current state of the bgs to take a look at the sticky post in bug forum https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forumdisplay.php/105-PC-Bug-Reports
Feel free to take a quick look at the rest of the subforum with no feedback from dev and still unsolved issues. This game is barely playable.

I guess it's a safe bet to assume they are.

I hope so, but I'm not that confident.

lol

25th of januari if i recall correctly.
That is a Friday. FDev luckily doesn't patch the game on Fridays anymore. Anyone remember the first exploration CG we got? A patch on a Friday, borked scanning and players had to double or triple scan systems, otherwise the data wouldn't get revealed.

Its fine for me, I got a disconnect last night during the great DW2 jump off but all in all its much more stable than 2.1 was. Even 2.1 was playable, just not in open for a couple of weeks. No big deal.

The majority of the game seems to be working the majority of the time, yes there are bugs in the things you list and there are occasional crashes (I had three crashes in one day last week).

A disaster is where almost nothing works for anyone.

Ok I admit my play style that doesn't have much involvement in missions and no deliberate involvement in the politico/economic side of the game might give me a happier experience than those playing more niche activities.
