Patch 3.3.2. Any news?

The worst part is some people take that sort of thing seriously.

the even worse one is someone that tries to justify the unrespectful behaviour to their customers. Because ED is a game, but we are customers to fdev in the game industry.

How's FDEV been disrespectful ?.

Not seeing this either. I think this is another example of people not seeing the difference between wilful action and unintended mistakes. As much as I find the bugs annoying, if Frontier haven't fixed the problem yet, what could they announce to us that wouldn't cause an argument? None of the issues are deliberate as that's not how companies work.

Actually, an argument would happen in any event. So is there any communication that would help, apart from "we fixed it"?

Thing is, other people play other aspects of the game to you, which are, believe me, hideously broken.

The freezing is something from the patch, we all have it.
Hmm, just for the record this was the situation for me:

- No freezes in the Beta (with lots and lots of hours in the Beta)

- Freezes in 3.3.0 which started immediately after launch.

- No freezes since 3.3.01

For me at least, the patch fixed that particular issue, rather than starting it. Obviously I'm not saying that because it's ok for me it was ok for everyone else, but it does suggest that there was a partial fix in 3.3.01 and the cause is more complex than it just being one thing which effects the playerbase universally.

(Or is this something where when OP said 3.3.1, they meant 3.3.0, not 3.3.01? Haven't got further in thread than your post yet.)

No, no communication would help. When they fix things people keep on moaning even after the fix, or switch to complaining they didn't fix something else at the same time. Its just how some people are.

I think this is the major issue. More players aren't involved in political\economic affairs and have little issues about the bugs. Exploration and mining are not bad and have little problems.Sorry for my bad English.

See my sig? The bit where it says "Strategic Director"?
I'm very involved in political BGS affairs, and very aware of what's not working right.

See me stamping my feet for dev attention?
Me neither.

No amount of emotional posts will speed up a patch. Be patient. It will come.

Not every is perfect but it seems to be in your own little world!

The last couple of threads I've created have been about bugs, I didn't feel the need to be really salty about it though. Not a big deal.

Pokes some glaring holes in your opinion though.

I'll note one thing, as of Jan 10, I haven't had the 5-20 second freeze anymore.
But now I've jinxed it, I'm sure.

No 20 second lock-ups for me over the weekend (didn't play on Thursday or Friday).

Still experiencing the disconnects where you drop back to the main menu, try to get back in and after 60 seconds, "unable to connect" comes up, back to main menu, try again and you're back in within 5-7 seconds. Always takes two tries like that for me since the update dropped.

Hopefully they're getting the universe back to normal, little bits at a time.
