Path System Rework

The current path system can be very frustrating to work with. Simple paths are easy enough, but creating more complex paths is very finnicky in my experience. Trying to make my paths symmetrical and not wonky ends up becoming a long process. I'd love if the paths were made just a little bit easier to work with. One feature that I think would make an improvement is the ability to change path width while working on a grid.
 
i wish it was easier to make a large area of just one area. like if you want to make a large for people to eat even at the large you have to layer it and end up with holes i wish you could just lay a path next to a path easier to make a wide area for my picnic area lol
 
I second this! basic path making is very simple and nice, but I would love some added features. I would love the ability to make a uniform circle or curve to a path, and to just click, hold, drag to make paths instead of just clicking over and over again. I also would like to be able more easily put paths in buildings. Basically, The ability to be able to make like a big square of paths and put a shop in the middle and just have it be able to be placed and where and still work, or make a building full of facilities and not have issues trying to place paths.
 
Absolutely! Being able to turn off the way paths automatically snap onto one another would be a start. It would give a lot more freedom when you want to make 2 paths close to each other with a small gap inbetween them for scenery like for a main entrance path.
 
I hope they make the pathing in PZ2 (in like 6 years) act more like JWE2 pathing. One of the few things I think that game does better than PZ.
