That's interesting. I never get more than about 10 fps on my machine, which is a modern one and runs glffe at top speed. Probably an issue with the graphics card drivers or somethingGLFrontier is super-smooth, (almost too fast sometimes), and I've never had any problems with it.

It doesn't matter which display mode I use - the thing is stuck at 10 fpsUse classic display mode. GL one sucks a big time anyway.

It's free, and though the sounds aren't quite the same as the original, the graphics are slightly updated. I'd been playing Frontier again on my Amiga Emulator, and it was slow and unrealiable. GLFrontier is super-smooth, (almost too fast sometimes), and I've never had any problems with it.
I think it's F11 to go between window and full-screen, and CTRL-E to change between the display modes. Can even have wireframe!!
