Permanent Orange Sidewinder Error

Wow, both accounts in the same machine? in my case was more simple, the Orange error only happened when I was trying to land on any planet in Odyssey, I had to restart with the vanilla ED game that places the ship again in the space. After that, I rolled back to the adrenaline previous driver (the problem began after update the Radeon driver) and everything worked ok again. But your problem is by far more complex if both accounts are in the same PC.

Yes, two accounts on the same machine, one with no problems at all and the other unloadable.
Frontier has now come back with some ideas. She moved me to one of my other docked ships in another system, and even though the load time was long, I was actually able to get back into the game with this ship. She then moved me and the original ship to a station in Colonia, which I was one (neutron boosted) hop from. When trying to load the game again, it still gives the orange error. She concludes that it must likely be a problem with the ship itself, and I am waiting on a solution for this.

So I have had a reply from the devs on this. Apparently an orange sidewinder error and disconnect is associated with AMD driver versions after 22.5.1. They are working on fixing this, but the only solution right now is to backdate your AMD graphics driver back to 22.5.1.

Obviously, if you wish to play other games, then you'll have to re-download new drivers every time you switch game.

Fingers crossed that this won't take much longer to fix

As for all the trouble for the OP and all of us who tried to help him, it's not his network or ISP, but all of this is due to a bad AMD Graphics Driver?

I've been sending at least 5 crash reports a day for the last week lol. Playing "Crash Report" is the new minigame? :P (mostly occuring while standing around the concourse doing absolutely nothing. bang: ctd. although I did have one while I was in an Apex Shuttle too)

In the last couple of weeks they have not happened anymore and the steps that caused them earlier no longer do. I used to be able to get one nearly any time I used the SRV or disembarked on foot a few times. It would crash in the fade-to-black on re-entering the ship or SRV. I have not...

I am currently having the exact same issues you have described in this thread but without the orange sidewinder, everytime I enter my ship I get a CTD, I have tried all of the above without a fix, I am currently waiting for support to get back to me.
Did this get resolved for you?

Edit - Not exactly the same, the issue with Amazon timing out is identicle.
