Petting Zoo Pack

As others have also already written I would not be so excited about a Petting Zoo pack. I also prefer Packs with wild animals. If we should get one (which I do not think) it should be a scenery pack in my opinion. I know a lot of Zoos have an area with farm animals but such a pack just would not excite me that much.

While I would say wild animals are a priority, I would not mind a petting zoo pack, especially if it bought new animal types like ducks, geese etc.

That being said, most of my zoos start to lagg whenever I have around 30 habitat species in the zoo, and I hardly ever have everything I wanted in them, so I am not sure how would I squeeze a petting zoo to most of my projects if I cant even have all the wild animals I would like.

IMO Children's Zoo Pack makes more sense than Petting Zoo Pack. Whole concepts can include more animals than just farmyard species, while still including basic idea of petting some cute animals.
Idea based on various areas for childrens (mostly on recent SDZ wildlife explorer camp)
Animals:
1. Nigerian Dwarf Goat
2. European Rabbit
3. Squirrel Monkey
4. Serval
5. Velied Chameleon
Heavily themed scenery to amuse kids :

+ some cool looking plants and more faux rocks, some sort of new wall set

Of course various types of playgrounds coming in free update. Also new educational borads and stations.

This would be an absolute dream pack. I'd rather a duck or emu than a rabbit, but I'd buy regardless.

Something else that is increasingly common in zoo's children areas are prehistoric/dinosaur walks. A few animatronic statues to places along a trail or add theming to a playground would be absolutely out of this world amazing.
To be honest I think a highland cow, for example, would be a lot more useful than a Sumatran rhino or a saiga but that’s just based on the kind of zoos I generally build.
As someone who is hoping against hope for saiga... I agree with you. I want saiga so I can have a pixal version of one of my favorite animals, but when it cones to building a realistic zoo - a donkey, a goat, and a duck are way more likely to show up.

I could like this, if it was an animal pack! I think if we had only 3 random petting zoo animals than those three would feel out of place. Plus my dream for domestic animals is a Pomeranian, but if they added a dog, it would only be a sheepdog of some kind... Ideally they could introduce new mechanisms for guests interacting with animals! and introduce different personalities for different individuals such as one is playful, or shy and less likely to engage with guests or keepers. Since I'm really dreaming they could add domestic dog with different genetic physical traits that you could breed a Pomeranian if you wanted!

I’d love to see domestic pack, but I do know that it’s a hughly controversial opinion. I think if we did get one, it would have to be a scenery pack (introducing proper barnyard scenery), but with eight animals too. I think the inclusion of scenery PLUS additional animals for the same price as a regular DLC would entice most of the fanbase into buying a pack like this. My lineup would be as follows -

•Highland Cattle
•African Pygmy Goat
•Kunekune Pig
•Mediterranean Miniature Donkey
•Rhode Island Red Chicken
•Shetland Pony
•Suri Alpaca
•Honey Bee (E)

(Edit: specified species of alpaca)
