Pharmaceutical Isolators

The war is on, and it seems like Frontier wants players to join the fight (and play the game). But in order to fight Thargoids you need Engineered modules. But for some reason you are making many Engineering materials impossible to acquire. Pharmaceutical Isolators and Modular Terminals, to name two.

Engineering is a grind, but if you want players to join the fight, and play the game, you have to at least make the materials available.

I'm maxed out at 100 Pharmaceutical Isolators which I have found in Empire HGEs. Sometimes I trade up for them. HGEs are EVIL as they seem to know what I need. After a lot of work to get it then they show up all the time when I'm looking for something else. I have a Dolphin specifically designed for gathering materials in HGEs.

I just did a quick search where I am at for Modular Terminals and here's one. This new fancy looking Odyssey transportation missions GUI doesn't show what the cargo is without clicking on each one.

UPDATE: Clicking on SHOW provides filters to display items in the main list. I learned something new thanks to replies on this thread.

I would do the mission and give them to you but currently I'm on the clock to help complete a CG before the Thursday tick!

UPDATE:
Regards

Pharmaceutical isolators are dropped by pirates attracted by delivery missions; that's where I get most of mine. They are in HGEs too, but I don't usually find the right ones.

Modular terminals aren't materials. They're commodity rewards from some missions. You can also buy them from some carriers.

Lacking G5 dirty drives is not a dealbreaker to doing AX combat. And material cross- trading exists for good reason.

I think those pirate anacondas can just drop 1-2 G5 mats randomly, hunting those guys is how I passively fill up my materials too.

Farming for materials that spawn in non-boom HGEs usually isn't worth it because even if you find a system in the proper state and the proper factions with the proper superpower allegiance it's not guaranteed to spawn a HGE or could spawn other materials instead.

Using a material trader is the solution there, but you will need a bunch of other more easily obtained G5 mats to trade and it will be expensive.

Over a year ago Bruce dropped a post regarding engineering materials grind.
Many folk responded and they did not a thing about it afterwards.
It's bad when the company itself call engineering a "grind", then post about going some way to resolve it, then just ignore their own post.

It's just been a reshuffle of already ingame assets.
