After a six week journey of exploration (yes, I know, short compared to some of you) I headed back to Kano today.

I was surprised at how nervous I was coming into the final system, and despite two NPCs hovering on my tail the whole way to the starport I was not interdicted.

I was also surprised when I realised I had never docked my DBE before...bought it, fitted it out, and then off I went without docking anywhere else. A bit nerve wracking!

Anyway, will post some pics in the gratuitous selfies thread when I get a chance.

Congrats!!
I'm thinking about going to Kano on my way back, too. Sell some data and most importantly fit some decent guns and shields into my Asp before further travel in the bubble. Hopefully I'm on my way home after this weekend.

I think for those of us that ignore this PP rubbish & have no enemies, interdictions are still rare.

Iv been back at my outer civvy system for nearly 2 weeks, Im currently surveying the area for potential landings when Horizon hits. No interdictions so far.

One thing that Iv noticed, even in the bubble (though Im at the outer edge), I only see NPCs in systems that have a population. This has changed from previous encounters in civvy space.

I noticed on the way out weeks ago I met many more NPCs, even out of the bubble (although not too far out), but on my way back in didn't see a single one until Kano. Both legs of my trip were in 1.4 so I wonder if FD have tweaked it since then?

Well landed!

I'm still about 20kLYs out, but I will try to make speed for the Bubble over the next week or so...

Oh I was planning to be back in the bubble before Christmas. It seems increasingly unlikely though.
I set off in early September, just to visit the core and come straight back. Then it happened and I got sidetracked... Right now I am entering the Sagittarius Arm and hope to follow it all the way back home.
Still 30kly away from home, following the Arm though is likely to add a few kly to that.

Kind of funny, I started my journey in 1.3 and might only reach home in 1.5.

Welcome back!
BTW gooddoc, I thought interdictions were rare too until I bought a hauler and tried to travel 100LY to founder's world for the first time.
No cargo, friendly all around, no PP, just an empty taxi.
Wow, was I wrong. Even got interdicted while hi-waking.
There's definitely some sort of what_ship_type_is_being_flown vs how_often_you're_a_target at play.

Thanks Cmdr...just bought a new Asp Explorer for the next big expedition (Distant Worlds), but in the mean time have retrieved my trusty Cobra MkIII to run some drugs/slave missions ;)

Oh, and maybe get in on a CG or two until Horizons hits
