I pity the guy in the middle left.
I did the Médoc wine marathon in 2019 and I was stuck behind a middle-aged bloke in a mankini for about 30 kms. It was most unpleasant.
In the Air Cadets I was on a five mile march and the guy behind me could not march in time so he kept kicking my ankle. I had a blister that he kept on kicking, mile after mile- when I got back to the barracks where we were staying, my sock was drenched in blood and my ankle was red raw.
Compared to that mans eyes, I got off lightly.
