A star rises behind the planet
It's light streams through the rooms large window
A hand on my back, small, warm
I turn over, opening my eyes sleepily
A brown head presses her slight body against mine, wrapping her arms around me
She holds me possessively, we kiss...
A shadow. A ship passing silently by
I turn from the window, she's lying on the bed, tangled in the sheets.
I smile.
I walk to her, calling her.
She doesn't answer.
She's not moving.
I pull back the covers.
I stumble in horror.
She's dead.
A single bullet to the head.
The sheets red with her blood.
I scream, I run to the other bedroom. Why?
My child!
It's locked. I scream in fury.
I override it. I open the door.
I'm sucked into space.
It's gone. An entire section of the apartment ripped from the station.
My little girl...
No..
I see her, floating lifelessly - a bullet to her head... like her mother..
I realise I can breathe... I'm in a suit .. Remlock
I'm screaming. Tears cloud my vision.
The station explodes in utter silence.
But I can hear the screams as the people die.
I turn away from it.
I'm facing a hill. A woman stands at the summit. The sun behind her, surrounding her head like a halo.
She turns to face me. Her long brown hair covers half her face. She's beautiful....
.. but half her face is burnt and covered in blood. She's wrapped in a bed sheet...
Beside her... a little girl...
Neither are smiling.
"You let us die." The woman.

"You killed us." The girl.
No!
"We trusted you." Both.
