Ships Pimp my build: Splora-conda

my first trip out i went with 5d thrusters... paid the price on a 2.9G planet (12mcr rebuy) so now i run with something a bit better.

I'm thinking of heading out for exploration in my anaconda, the Garrus Vakarian. Here's my potential build including mods I plan on having (I've unlocked the relevant engineers)

My goal there is to have a ship with teeth for when I get to Colonia, should the need arise. My only rule with this build is the jump range: not a single decimal point below 50ly. Perhaps I'm being overly cautious with the shield cell banks, and the shield boosters, and indeed so much weaponry. But I don't really want to get killed for lack of shooting back. ;)

same as the corroded cargo module, just in case thargoid or whatever unusual, it weights next to nothing

Just to add something about the view in the Anaconda. There is zero view downwards. If you're used to looking down when landing on planets in the Asp you'll probably miss being able to do that.
Your view directly left and right isn't too bad, but upwards visibility is limited, so it's a matter of rolling the ship and then taking a look.
About the handling: The Anaconda is really sluggish in supercruise - the Asp feels like s sports car by comparison. The Anaconda handling actually feels better in normal space even with lightweight thrusters.

The Anaconda wins when it comes to module slots hands down though.
A 7A scoop does about 1200kg/s when refuelling - enough to full throttle it immediately when refuelling. A 6A scoop is also okay if you're strapped for cash. I went to Sag A* and back using a 6A and when I got back I had enough to afford a 7A scoop and a couple of rebuys. :)

I find 7B scoop more than adequate I can afford a 7A many times over but the 70mil price diff for a piece of kit almost identical to the A variant grips my poop a little bit

After changing my mind about my potential build, I'm now looking at this:

Any suggestions for improvements? I probably should sacrifice a bit of jump range for an extra fuel tank, just to be safe.

a 7b fuelscoop is cheaper and faster than a 6A. a 4g planetary vehicle hangar weighs less. you are better off with class 6 afmu. there is no need for extra fueltanks in my experience ... 4 jumps on a full tank is plenty, especially as you can restrict the routeplotter to scoopanles. 3,5 is comfy...

Aha! I must have just clicked the wrong SRV hangar. Well spotted! :)

I already have a 6A fuel scoop in the Anaconda (because I presently have a 7C Bi-weave in the 7 slot), but I think I still have a 7B scoop stored. So my build could look like this: https://eddp.co/u/jku3bh8B

And that gives me the magic 60ly number. :D
