PvP Pining Threads - what should be pinned here?!

Well For now looks like no one is actually "moderating" this area (not in the manner of baning and giving warnings) so here is the thing...

I think this thread should be in the first place a "first steps" and a "improvement steps" to anyone interested in PvP.. So I'd like to know which old posts or new ones we should pin here...

I mean Good stuff that can actually help newcomers that got tired of target practice( aka PvE ).

So you have a Good sugestion?

Please help us!

So if you support this idea PLEASE let me know.

Instructional videos should be in the Newcomers, or Training areas, I would think.

I like this sub-forum. The travel ads say it's one of the best places to stay in California. :)

I just started a couple threads that I think should likely be pinned. If this is a PvP subforum for us, we should pin useful threads that aggregate knowledge from the community that's all in our brains or on Discord servers somewhere.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
No one is modding here? Ah, no. Not true. :)

As for the instructional videos - if they are not chock full of profanity or are otherwise unacceptable, then they're fine.

If you think something should be pinned then simply report the thread in question and ask. The mod team and community managers will discuss it. :)

Some of the Mod team have been busy recently learning how to spell correctly i.e. UK English and not that damn colonial nonsense. :D

Jenner's lessons have been delayed due to the instructor's nervous breakdown after explaining to Brett that the letter Z is not a valid substitute for the letter S and it's not a criminal offence to use the letter U sometimes as well.

Once the instructor has stopped screaming we will then also instruct Jenner in the difference in the words now and not. :)

However, Embedded Videos which contain profanity will be removed.

Good idea. First off, I think Truesilver's guides should all be stickied. They are full of a wealth of knowledge:

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...eginner-s-Guide-VR-PvP-Vid?highlight=strafing

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...s-No-2-Beginner’s-Guide-Courier-v-FdL-PvP-vid

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/341107-Truesilver-s-Top-Tips-No-3-Gimballed-Duelling

Next to that, the most well written and comprehensive guide for newcomers that I have come acrosd is Mini Watto's guide to building a PvP capable ship:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4_nhy1CKrnCUUpCZDZqVXRtOWc/view

Lastly, I remember Vindicator Jones had some really good Youtube videos with tips on flying and PvP weapon comparisons. Kornelius Breidis also had some awesome weapon comparison videos with extensive data analysis but unfortunately they have all become outdated due to Engineers.

That's all I can think of for now.

Thank you I've been making a huge thread with this links for now.
I will put Adles PDF there too ;)

Thx!

A break line?

You mean like break, or a horizontal rule?

Nevermind I found it :)

and breakfast is included. And relinking to another sub forum, never burnt a biscuit.

I like this sub also. It might need a Reinstatement of Forum Policy for naming and shaming, profanity, etc, etc, at the top

Links to vids, how to FAOFF, how to dance like Tony Curtis, storytime with Hercules... like that one time, in open... [haha], can come second.

Colonial nonsense? Not sure if I like the COLOR of your jib...
