Piracy and hatch breakers - Where did it end up in the end with 2.2?

So, do we have Hatch Breakers sailing through shields now?

Point defense of any use?

ECM?

Is it (now) possible to get a reasonable amount of cargo out of a big ship?


ps: Did they fix the cargo instancing issue? ie: If the victim leaves, you can't pick up the cargo?

2. eh, sometimes. I've found it useful on ships with low amounts of shields, like the FAS.
3. I think so, I find the bigger ships carrying low temp diamonds drop more than the usual type 6's

Go through shields: Yes

Point Defence: Kills Limpets

ECM: Kills all Limpets in range

Cargo: Similar, but you can get to it more easily by going through shields. But more difficult if they have more than one PD & ECM, you need to mask it with missiles.

And have we worked if this an annoyance for PvP piracy? ie: Just hang around Engineers and Hatch Break folks for the lolz?

I play/stream in open only and haven't had an issue like that.
 
It's pretty good.

If they make it so cargo becomes immune to crashing damage while carried by a limpet, then it would be GREAT.

As currently, you have to come to a complete stop to allow limpets to drop the cargo off, making the entire thing a ridiculous debacle.
