Planco Translator

Planco Translator & Dictionary

Hey,

I have created a PLANCO translator and dictionary. It is the first ever PLANCO translator. Released September 8th.

  • Real-time translation -- no loading, no delay, just type and each letter will be translated immediately!
  • Works fast across all devices -- no external ajax requests.
  • Seamlessly cross-translate -- the text will translste across both text areas on the fly!
  • Responsive design -- Built with mobiles in mind, the site will adapt to your device.
  • Recognises all characters -- including apostrophes (JMR's = JMR'o, Etc.)
  • Full word dictionary -- Making it easy to discover what words are available
  • Credit and discovery system-- This system is built to last! With new PLANCO words continually being discovered, you can discover a new word not already in the dictionary and receive credit!
  • Find any words discovery origin -- You can find out where any single word was discovered from. Just click the eorld to view its discovery origin.
  • Auto-suggest -- makes it quick and easy to discover available words.
  • Original database -- All words manually entered, linked to its source, no copying
  • Translate from any language! -- Translate from English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch!

You can access it here: http://jordanmrichards.com/pc/planco/

The dictionary just keeps growing! If you discover a new PLANCO word that is not already inside the dictionary, please send me a forum message, with a link to the source. :) You will be given credit for the discovery of that word. (Don't forget to link the source!)

All feedback is welcome.

Kinda reminds me of these made up tribal languages we'd come up with as kids while playing out in the woods.

Wow, @JMR! I was not aware that you are creating a translator too!

I was just creating my own since yesterday night haha

If I was fluent with Planco, and if the translator would work on my phone, I would probably say "This is an awesome Planco translator my good sir" in Planco, but seeing as I'm not home, I just said it in english.

I discovered that if you load a page on the planetcoaster website in planco and then go to a page that doesn't exist on the website the 404 page will be shown in planco!
Link needs to be loaded twice for it to work (just hit refresh): https://www.planetcoaster.com/pc/nopage

Why twice? The website needs to see that you came form a planetcoaster.com/pc/ link for it to show the 404 page in planco.

New words I discovered:
- whoops : wholpi
- go : gons
- page : bran
- homepage : wudobran
- home (presumably) : wudo
- found : disku
- looks : karrs
- like : lanae -> interesting this must be a different definition of like then is already in the database!
- want : vur
- can't : ca'nu -> also different from the database which says "cat't"
- sorry : paradu
- engineers : jenozani
- notified : fohvibreten
- case : misorar
- and : at -> database says "ad"
- are : say -> database says "spal"

I haven't yet spent time investigating the double words, feel free to do so or correct me!

The double words are I guess wrong. The words you said are correct, when we believe the topic/discussion about the Planco language. They (the double words) were doscovered there already in the correct way :p So I guess JMR may spelled it wrong. Not sure how he got al those words in his database, maybe one-for-one or by a system (I guess a kind of system).

By myself I've created a small script that reads the page and reads the website. It reads the words in the columns and put them in the database.

JMR: I still like your translator! :) How do you get all those words? By a single script (like I do) Or one-by-one into the database?

(I did not included my signature because you are another translator, I don't want to advertise)

Yep, we even did the 404 page in Planco! [haha]

Just to provide confirmation on the following:

Like = lanae - this is used when you are referring to something that is similar. E.g. "It was like that time I said something funny!"
Like = selo - this is used when you are saying something in the present tense that you admire or are fond of. E.g. "I like your profile picture!"
Can't = ca'nu - this is a contraction of cat and nuve, the words for 'can' and 'not'
And = at
Are = say

Hope the above makes sense about the double words? [happy]

Cool! I will see how I will create that in my own translator :p Hope that JMR does the same :)

One question, you guys know all the words. How many words have you created until now?
