Will the pre order rides return to be bought separately? This Deluxe Version picture made it look like the pre order bonus would ALWAYS be included in the deluxe edition and now I'm really frustrated because I've been waiting patiently for so long to get the game and now I can't build my favourite water coaster which is so disappointing :(

I spent $70 on the Deluxe Version as I loved the original and was liking the previews I've seen of PC2, only to find out the sandbox park map will not fit the types of parks I like to recreate and build. Very disappointed! I understand the hard limit of guests as it relates to performance, but the lack of a customizable map / scenario builder is a hard-pass for me. I want to give Frontier the 2 weeks post-launch to address this before requesting a Steam refund. For the moment, although it looks fun and love water parks, there's just not enough overall new and interesting content for me (personally) to spend it at this time. (PC user here...is it true these limits are due to limitations with consoles??)

Just a bit of feedback after playing for 6 hours.

1. Please remove the storage limit for PC players, it makes no sense to limit us to 1 Gb of storage, on Planco 1 I have around 3 gb of subscribed blueprints, your now limiting us to 1 GB of storage that also includes the parks we build. Please remove this limit on PC.

2. Please allow us to increase guests on PC we should not be limited to 6000 guests.

3. When I have my sandbox set that staff do not require breaks then please make it so when new staff gets added that they have no scheduled breaks, right now they atuomaticly get a break scheduled still.

4. Barriers and Kerbs are not working, please fix this because we use it to stop guests from walking through buildings and such and please bring back the barrier lints from Planco 1 also.

5. Give us edge scrolling please.

6. We need an update all subscribed blue prints button good people at frontier, we been asking for this for years since the launch of planco 1 on console now with frontier workshop on pc this has become a daily task also on pc. See this video of planet zoo on console to see what i mean https://t.co/pc47vCIWtO

7. Now i love the new path option to auto add bins or benchen on paths but can we please get an option to do this together, like let us make a path that auto adds not just bins or benches but bins and benches together and a 3rd option lights having those 3 auto added and spaced would be a game changer

8. Another thing, weather controls please, would love to be able to control the weather it is going to be. It is all about creative freedom in our parks if I want it to be sunny all day then let me do so like we can in planet zoo.

9. Also would love some control of the flow of time in some cases I like it to go a bit faster in other cases I love how it is but again it is all about creative freedom.

10. Also would love to see an option where guests leave your park at the end of the day and where your park closes during night hours, let us set the opening and closing hours to make it more realistic. Again it is all about creative freedom and options

11. An option to reset path colors to default, right now if we change a path color there is no way to reset back to the default path color.

Why oh why do we need to confirm almost every-single-action in the game.
Want to select mutliple items? Confirm
Want to change the color? Confirm
Want to add to a scenery group? Confirm

It's also a pretty big design flaw to have a higlighted tint on the selected parts that we want to change the color of

In another thread where someone was asking about getting rid of the heatmap button at the top of the screen, they claimed you could remove it under settings.by turning off "Show Onscreen Controls"...that doesn't work. Anyone else have luck removing it?
No that just applies to the control hints at the bottom, not the heatmap button.

Coasters and rides are at the heart of Planet Coaster 2.

After playing for 5 hours, this game is looking to be SO amazing, however can you PLEASE put some more effort and love into water rides. I was very disappointed to find that the water rides were essentially copy and pasted from Planet Coaster 1 to 2, and they were already an afterthought in 1.
  • All the descents of the water rides are only ONE ANGLE, absolutely NO freedom
  • the log rides have this fixed pre drop lift that just isn't on heaps of log rides (some but not a lot), so you can't make a smooth double down or anything like that
  • There isn't a flexible way to make the transition/curve from a steep downhill slope to flat section larger and/or longer, and the same with the start of a drop,
  • The animation for the raft going over rapids is just an unrealistic bobbling
  • The rapids themselves just look like spabaths with some bubbles, they don't look like REAL RAPIDS, even if it was a cosmetic overhaul to the rapids section, that would be a great start
  • The water coaster transition to runouts are also fixed and at at a jerky angle, and just do not work right, again being able to adjust the size of the transition from steep to flat would be great, even if it was 5 or 6 preset options.

Ideally, it would be great if you could make the drops of all these water rides act like flexible coaster track, that would give us SO much more freedom, but even if there was just more variety in the preset elements, that would be fine too. The cosmetic appearance of the rides are absolutely fine.

Your brand literally has a splash on the logo... don't you think water rides should be a focus too?

Again, the game is fantastic and exciting, and thanks for all the hard work already put in.

Agree with you...and that water looks HORRIBLE. You can actually see that the ripples in the water don't even flow along the direction the water is moving.

First and foremost, can you please do something with both flume splashdowns? I thought the splashdown in Planet Coaster 1 was small and was sad to see it hadn't changed, then when I took a look at the Antique Log Flume, I found it to be so silly looking, it's so tiny, and for whatever reason, the Antique Log Flume seems to have a track piece that can be rotated to make a full on roll, but there's no option to turn it left and right? odd. Also those new textures.

Some other things I think need some work:

• Straight sections on boomerang coasters attached/before a lifthill making for awkward transitions between the loop/s and second lift hill, maybe also scalable lift hills?

• UI issue when rotating a flume platform to line it up with a pool. I had some racing slides and rotation was snapping and there was no option in sight, I had to come out, place a ride down, select advanced move on the ride and turn rotation off, then go back into the flume platform and rotate. Speaking of UI, there seems to be a lot of menus closing, and then we have to keep going back to other menus. I wish they'd stay open and we could move windows around, like a similar game from 1999

• Flumes, I was worried when I first saw a video regarding the camera and the flat bottomed slides, I'm hoping this is something that gets fixed

The pathing system. We were told that the old pathing system was still there, but we can't use a grid on the queue's like in Planco 1 which means no cattlepen queues.
I know it's possible to do but it seems time consuming/tedious.

• The new preorder water coaster tower lift is so huge compared to everything else, I think it was 63M tall? that's over 200ft, it's huge! I feel like I have to make something oversized. The splashdown has to be placed right after a flat piece of track, so it's another transition thing. There's also that B&M coaster with the water section to slow trains down, scalable piece would work great on that! a scalable lift on the preorder water coaster too maybe? or 3 different sizes?

Those are my main issues for now. I think the game looks pretty, and I can tell a lot of love and effort has gone into Planet Coaster 2, the lighting looks fantastic (I can't even do ray tracing) but it looks so nice, I'm happy with the art direction.

Dear Dev's,

Played the game for 100 minutes and loved PC1 and all the ones before. Here I'm struggling as a desktop player. There were a lot of clicks involved in going to bulldozer mode, leaving the menu window where I was busy. I want to click the left mouse button or press ESC to activate such a mode. It makes building a path or an object difficult and time-consuming.

Also, building a pool with the line tool is frustrating. If you want to follow a certain edge but make a mistake and click the left mouse key, for example, you need to start all over. You should be able to go back just one node when clicking left, not forfeit all the lines made together.

You can really see and feel that console players are better off. However, I'm still doubting about getting a refund, as the game looks great and it's fun to have swimming pools again.

Also quite some bugs about guest not being able to find there way and getting stuck at a side of a flume and so, but that is something I expect needs to be fine tuned in the future.

This still jumps out as a "if we'd given the public a beta, we'd have had these fixed before release".
As soon as game is released and the wider public got their hands on it, lot more bugs found.
Go figure.
Let the YouTubers test it for us so they can make videos and not tell us much about it (please note, I know not all the YouTubers were like this but the fact several got their hands on it and just "reviewed" as is rather than playtest it shows a lot.

I love the planet coaster franchise so much and the developers at Frontier really knocked it out of the park. These are just some things I personally would want added to the game:
1.) trackless dark rides (like rise of the resistance)
2.) Disney’s high speed slotted car ride system
3.) accommodations for pre-shows
4.) transfer tracks
5.) an option for an unlimited map
6.) the ability to build ride vehicles from the ground up
7.) the ability to edit tracked vehicles

I can’t wait to see what Frontier does next and I hope this game gets added content and the attention it deserves. Thank you so much, my year is ending on a high note ❤️

Might be a dumb question - but is Custom Scenery going to be a thing in PC2? Will I be able to import custom scenery models into the game from Blender?
I’m with you on this! Being able to import custom models from Blender would be awesome and make it way easier to create unique stuff in the game. Really hope they add this feature!

Will there be a fix for those of use that pre-ordered the game (Deluxe in my case) and are unable to access any of the DLC with the exception of the 3 coasters?

I take this back. All the DLC can be found under the large blue Create Custom button on the right side of the tool bar. Why it's not listed under the individual ride types with a thumbnail, like every other ride, is beyond me.
