Hayo, park managers!

Happy New Year! We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 with a look at our Spring Roadmap, starting with Update 2 which will arrive in February.

We also wanted to give you a peek at what’s coming beyond Update 2 as we head into Spring.

The below image is non-exhaustive, and we are continuing to investigate crash and bug reports with a view to addressing these as quickly as possible. We'll be sharing a full list of changes with each update.

As always, we will continue to review all your feedback and reports. In the meantime, do please continue to report any bugs on our Issue Tracker here.

We also know that many of you are keen to see some of the themes from the original Planet Coaster in the game – this is something we’re actively looking into as part of these free content updates, and we’ll have more to share on this in the future.

We’ll be chatting about Updates 2 and 3, as well as future updates, during our first Frontier Unlocked livestream of the year on Wednesday 26th February at 6pm GMT.

Thanks as always for your continued support - we look forward to getting these updates into your hands in the coming months!

Great with the roadmap and it's going more and more in the right direction💪👍🤩!!

But please don't forget little things like this:

Path option without curb (very important!! Why was this specifically removed???)

1-3 Meter path incl. employee

A transparent path

The black and yellow barriers with collision function please

Multiselection (shift+mouse) without the tool seems to be coming

All textures for all biomes would be great too!

This can't take months...

Plus the standard rides Venetian Carousel, Condor, Breakdancer, Rocktopus (MUST HAVE!!!!), generally more for children😍

A line tool for fences and walls would be great in the future like the enclosure system in Planet Zoo...

And when the old themes of western, pirates, horror etc. come (I hope one for free for the bumpy start☺️), then please don't leave half of them out, we urgently need all the animatronics and horror objects for dark rides. Of course, we'd also be happy to add a few new things...

And I would be interested to see how toolkit objects are handled in the future. The Planco parks have lived from this, from details and realism like parking lots with cars or backstage props for employee areas. Or are we getting the props from Planet Zoo? There were a lot of them. And please givshops few shops and vendor machines every month. There are over 50 in Planco and Planet Zoo and we only have so little choice. It's just a push of a button for you😉

I still don't understand why so many standard tools from Planco and PZ have been removed, as if programmers/game designers didn't play the old parts and now they are gradually coming back in...🤔

Here’s to a hopefully great Planet Coaster 2 future and that many angry players return🥳💪

Nice to actually have a roadmap for once and I'm happy to hear more themes are planned as part of those updates. However, until there are some major changes made to the overcomplicated click hell that is the PC UI, no amount of themes, rides or other features will make me want to pick up the game again.

Thank you for some informations. Im very happy about it. Thanks for the roadmap. Really.

I hope its ok to give some negative thoughts:
No update from 19 DEC to 26th February. Really??
And no word about the bad DLCs/prices? Frontier, please.

I'm sure some people were there for two weeks on Christmas holiday, so there probably won't be anything in January. Although we would be happy about 10 shops, 5 vendor machines and two rides like Rocktopus and the little Venetian carousel🤩. The things are ready and should be easy and quick to make available.

But if there is a big update every month with the missing functions, features, shops and rides, plus 2-3 old themes and new content, then I'll be happy 🥳

But I don't want to see any more DLCs with 3 to 4 rides for 12 euros. It has to be like part 1, so new theme, 300-400 components/pieces, new plants/trees, benches, paths, animatronics, plus 5 rides and 3 roller coasters, then I'll happily spend 15-20 euros. I see a pure package with 6 children's carousels plus 2 children's roller coasters at 9.99 as example. Something like that would be fair...

Thanks.

All in All I am happy with the announcements so far. I feel myself heard and from what i read over the last months i feel a lot of issues are adressed on this. (not everything on a minute detail, but this is totally not my expectations).

Thanks a lot for this transparency and roadmap! You guys have really went in the total right direction and frankly i could not ask for more, please only to continue and also please do be transparent if you hit snags or have to delay etc,

I agree with what Geekism said in his video if one isnt happy with this i dont think you ever will be happy with PC2 and should just move on am afraid, and that the biggest bill item is really bugfixes and improvements, ofc they are harder to promte than new stuff :)

Fingers crossed also that you manage to get some of the classic themes over , and i hope in the future that we see some good and exciting DLCs aswel :)

Oh nice a roadmap, this is a step in the right direction!

I would love to see some acknowledgement of most requested features tho.

Some small examples are
  • Still not being able to remove the big heatmap button
  • UI scale
  • Path kerbs
  • Smaller/bigger sizes for paths (normal/queue/staff) as well as grid option for queues
but I must appreciate that it is starting to look like that maybe there is a small chance of the possibility of you becoming more transparent

What about releasing a known issue priority list here, too?
We can't see what do you want to fix first before adding new features...

Please test general gameplay by yourself, first. Then we weren't needed to do this.
(I just deleted some text to keep it short)
