Planet Coaster Alpha 3

Hellooo, everyboda. Yes, I know I said "everyboda" but I have something to talk about. As you already know Alpha 3 going to be released THIS month. Which is amazing, I am so glad for another alpha. Though, something has been bugging me. I feel like there isn't enough "items" being added into this update. Yes, we get colorable options, benches, garbage cans, and WATER. Though, I feel like this isn't all we are getting. I have a feeling that they may be hiding something that will be implanted into this alpha version. Yes, this is a guess and isn't true, but I feel like a new coaster type may be added. Or a few new flat rides. The possibilities are endless. This came to mind because of all the other extra items that were added, like alpha 2 we got new coasters, flat rides, and some amazing new features, but I do not think this is all we are getting for Alpha 3. My point may be proven right or wrong, that is okay. I just can't want for alpha 3 to launch.

I believe you are forgetting a few things. First off, we are getting blueprints and community sharing, which IMO is HUGE!!! that will add so many objects for us to place!

We will also be getting "management" features such as staff/employees, possibly money will actually work properly. Im not sure all what else is included in management but I bet its a lot.

Not to mention other tweaks and advancements for terrain and coaster editing. I bet there will also be a few new "maps" for us to check out, along with more rides, maybe even shops! We cant have it all at once!

The Alpha is meant to test certain things are working, and after that the beta will focus on multiplayer features. Once the full game is complete we will recieve a lot more objects, themes, rides, etc. And lets not forget about UGC! [up]

Massive is probably the best word for the blueprints stuff. ;)

Have to say i am impressed by how fast this game is evolving. Wasn't believing the estimated release fork (Q4 2016) but it seems more and more possible.

Still waiting for some tiny features like restaurants (Buffet, Show, or even gastronomic) but I am really looking for this game [up]

How do we know what features are being added to Alpha 3 just out of interest? Just I've not seen anything posted anywhere and now worried I've missed something [big grin]

I'm pretty sure they've never said anything about this being included in alpha 3. It will focus mainly on the blueprint and community share aspects.

'As we enter the other phases of the alpha we may well add additional changes such as content, an increased (but not final) level of park management simulation and of course bug fixes and optimisations.'

And don't forgot the Lifegiver, the Thing That Impoverished Countries May or May Not Have Access To, the Basis of Life on Planet Earth, the Thirst-Quencher, the Dehydration Preventer, that good ole' Dihydrogen Monoxide.

Or water, for the less scientifically inclined.

And hopefully maybe a water ride or two to go with it.

I really hope for a lot of management aspect, because there's not a lot of time before final release after alpha 3 and I would like to be able to test this aspect of the game. We don't hear a lot of things about this part of the game and they always says simulation evolved, so I'm really excited to see a lot of great management aspect and simulation and a lot of interaction/consequences of my choices on the guests and park.
