Ok...So, I must admit that I'm not really interested in Knight Rider or The Munsters. But I am so down for Back To The Future!
I will however be buying all three, as the concept and extras are going to open up so many possibilities.

Doing smaller packs like this with IPs are a good way of doing business. It's why I enjoyed Rocket League (Possiblitiy of a collab here? ;) Flags and trails in Rocket League, in return for a pack like above full of Rocket League items?). They have small, cheap DLCs of an IP, and then you get the option whether or not you want to buy. It doesn't effect gameplay at all, or like in this case, it works the same as CS did on RCT 3.

I do hope that a bigger DLC of free extras is pulled out the bag again in an Autumn update, but would also be willing to pay a bit more for a Wild/Soaked sized expansion :)

Thank you again Frontier for another amazing update, and I cannot wait to try out the DLC tonight :)

What a nice surprise when I arrived back from work. This is what I wanted some License material which is quite specialised. Rather than more generic themes. Its got my creative juices flowing especially the BacK to the Future Set.

How did you get the rights to make movie and TV show content? And wish you would have made a whole horror scenery set that would be useful for dark rides. I would buy that. Unless you are saving the good stuff for October, hint, hint. I like Back to the Future. I saw all three films several times on TV and have it on DVD (I gave up the VHS tapes). I think I missed them in theaters though when they originally ran in July 1985, 1989 and 1990. I wonder why they never made a part IV or a newer BTTF like how Star Wars has newer films beyond the first three from 1977, 1980 and 1983.

Being a BTTF fan from my earliest childhood days, I know what I'm getting right now ^^
I wish I only had more time to play... wait, I have all the time I want, I'm in a time machine!

I'm buying all 3, not so much because I want all 3, but because you've given us so much quality content for free throughout the various updates that I just want to throw a few bucks at you. Thanks as always, Frontier!

The BTTF set seems to have so few pieces compared to the others. Most importantly, I find the lack of separate scenery pieces for the license plate and flux capacitor disturbing... Pretty please, can you add those later?

Somehow I find DLC based on existing IP very lame and a bit lazy for a game that is supposedly about creativity and designing your own worlds and their stories. The PlanCo designers went the extra mile to create a expansive fictitious universe, down to the language, brands and characters. I don't want stuff from the real-world to suddenly invade that world.

The good news is that the scenery is so specific that it cannot be used for anything else. So If you don't care about those themes, it is easy to ignore them (and save money in the process) without missing out. Also, since the IP was probably not free for Frontier, the concept of paid DLC feels less abusive. You are paying for the license, it feels less like a paywall for the sole purpose of making more pennies to the developer.

Will the major updates ( the winter and summer updates as example) and minor updates (spring update) remain free? Or is everything paid for now?

I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the content packs and their themes. I would've loved some more universally used items. However I'm still buying them because $9 to help support the developers is nothing compared to all the free stuff they gave us. I'm just a little surprised since it seems like all the free updates are worth more money to me than these content packs. Either way, keep up the hard work Frontier!

My opinion on the new DLCs:

- First I think that is a good idea, if that keeps the game alive and it add new content that would not be made otherwise (specially if its IP related), and you keep providing some nice free updates with content.

- IMHO 3€ is not too much, but it's already a bit punchy for the content added. I think it would be more fair if more ride themes were included, like a coaster train or a flat ride; at least some more signs. Said that, I love the new karts.

- Using known IPs is a really good idea. I fully support it. And will eventually buy all of the ones available (for one side, because I like them, for the other because I think its a fair way to support the devs). I hope you will be able to reach an agreement with Disney, even if its a DLC per movie (f.i. a Dumbo one that included the flying dumbo flat ride).

- I would like to suggest a new system for those that don't have the DLCs and download anything that includes them, instead of locking the items they should simply disappear when added on a spot.

Lovely surprise this, never thought we'd ever see real 'Brand' names, is this just a Deal struck with 'Universal' then?

Or are there other Companies on board, would really love to see 'Looney Tunes' 'Walt Disney' stuff......but how likely is that?

After all, you've created your own 'identities' with 'Cosmic Cow' 'Cheif Beef' in some respect, so would you want them, 'Mickey Mouse' 'Donald Duck' etc.
