Planet Coaster creator will do Zoo Tycoon ??

I have no idea on what are Frontier plans on that end, if they have any plans at all.

We only know that they do have a lot of animal finished models and animations, as well as other animal related-stuff already optimised for the engine from Zoo Tycoon. So that's something that could be used sooner or later in a possible computer standalone game or Planet Coaster expansion/addon.

Yeah I guess it's a good starting point, but I would have thought that anything made nearly four years ago isn't going to cut it stylistically. Either way, i would be hyping on all four cylinders if we got a zoo addon.

Also, I'm tired of hearing "stop asking for animatronics, we are going to get UGC for that... " If this UGC is going to be so awesome, they should have just made Planet UGC instead of Planet Coaster!

I agree with you.

BTW IMHO animal animatronics are for a different kind of attractions than real animals. IMHO both attractions types would be interesting in Planet Coaster.

On another note, Disneyland also had the Conestoga wagons. [haha]

Planet Coaster has track rides, and modular building... If a Planet Safari game is made, using track rides and animated scenery, why not combine it with PCs track rides and modular building? Why separate them?

A "Zoo Tycoon" game or a "Planet Safari" game without coasters would not be something I am interested in at all. But combined, it could be amazing.

I just wish RCT3 had done a better job with its Wild Expansion because then people wouldn't be so against this idea, it just has to be done right. RCT3 Wild did not allow trackrides inside the animal enclosures, that needs to be allowed! And the animals need to know how to not walk through our modular buildings too!

If they spend the next year or 2 releasing add-ons for PC, then in about 2-3 years from now they could release PS as a stand alone game, which is also compatible with PC as an expansion. Now Imagine that PS has better graphics for the higher CPUs we will have, and imagine the best looking scenery that could be added to PC from within PS

I'd absolutely LOVE it if they made a zoo tycoon stand alone, zoo tycoon was my 2nd all time favourite game, second only to RCT3. (it's now ranked 3rd since PC took to top spot) I've been hoping for a remake for years. (I don't have an XBOX)

I'd also love a safari expansion for PC although I'd prefer a stand alone if I had to choose though.

That said, I'd be happy with a petting zoo for PC. Let there be goats!

Yes, it did. That was literally the most appealing feature of Wild to me.

I hope they'll make a stand-alone game of Zoo Tycoon for pc, because it can offer a lot of potention as well! It looked to fabulous at the XBox360, it's a shame that they didn't make it for pc [cry]

As the development cycle continues I thing especially after the goodies FD announced in last nights stream PC will continue to grow and grow, I'd love to see a Soaked and Wild type expansions.
