Planet Coaster - Update 1.0.2

What hardware are you running? I know everyone will have a different experience but the last time i had crashing like that was in the alpha. Since release I haven't had a single crash

I don't suppose you have any more detail on the stability and balance fixes? For example, the gift buying bug stopping peeps buying them...
 
This is as silly as the kerb to curb thing, but wouldn't this be update 1.0.2 instead of 1.0.02? [happy]

Just a miss -type. And yeah it is silly about the Kerb to Curb but at least it's done for people that wanted it so. Small things but people made enough noise in a post.

I don't know what it is with me and numbers, but I just notice that stuff right away. I work in a business where I need to know various numbers. I can tell you when something is off with a blink of an eye at work... but wouldn't you know it Curly... I can't remember my anniversary date for the life of me! lol

Haha, that's always the way though hey ;)

And also it could always be 1.0.12 :p but that is for another day.

Any chance we'll see persistent filters on scenery? It's annoying as heck to have to re-click it every time you close it, especially because it auto-closes when you rotate objects, which is a necessity when building displays.

Looking forward to the Winter update!

Hmm... Christmas scenery and music? Santa's hat for guests? That would be awesome! Ideas are limitless in this game lol

Edit: Are you using your laptop or desktop with these crashes and what drivers you on? Hardware? I tried to see if you had reported anything here but no thread comes up so I guess you've just been sending the crash reports.


Both laptop and desktop are on the latest versions of all drivers (use ioBit to report me on updates). Till the beta I had no crash whatsoever - not even the ones reported by others in the alpha's - and have had no driver updates since).
It looks more and more like a problem with the size of the park.
I only see this happening with my "most complete" park. This park has arround 14 rides/coasters and 20 shops. only 1/4 to 1/3 of the park has been occupied (started in beta and continued in V1.0; mostly build with workshop items). There is a lot of scenery though... And both monorail and Conny Express reach the whole park.
When I start a new park I seem to have no crashes (to date).

I'm unable to continue the park via resume, when I open it via play it opens but after moving about the park for less than one minute the application crashes.

So it looks like the increase of the parksize does not include an equal increase in amount of scenery posibilities.
Over the weekend I'll try to build a park with all rides (but no scenery) and have a look at what this does to the application. My guess is it will go fine.

Also: before one of the crashes I was editing the train ride which kept telling me that the maximum for the ride was reached. Don't know what maximum that was (din't say) and after some more attempts I could finish the ride whithout removal of other stuf.

Should I upload this park somewhere for the developers so they can check it out? If so where? If so where? Steam?
