I seem to have found the best worst kept secret of the universe! Forget Raxxla, we need to explore the mysteries of...*cue theremin music* SINGLELIGHTTEST!
 
From the neutron star system in the Theema nebula. The surface of the moon was so bright, I had to use the little info screens as shade to see the surface texture.
The reason there's such a clear division in the background space is because this is close to the core and is about 1300Ly above the galactic plane.

That would be a really cool pic, but there are so many color artifacts. Is that the original pic or did you downgrade it? Would love to see a higher res version.

Color artifacts? I'm using SweetFx so I don't think that counts as downgrading it.
