I just want PZ1's full roster to remain mostly intact more than anything. It's really not going to feel great rebuying animals or waiting years for the return of something we take for granted in the current game. I'm genuinely not sure if there's a way for Steam and other digital storefronts to use the same DLC purchase across multiple titles, so that if you've purchased XYZ Pack for PZ1 it's also available in 2, but that's the dream scenario. I assume it probably isn't possible, and I of course realize how much effort it will take to ensure compatibility with nearly 200 animals out of the gate, but I really don't care to go through this whole DLC song and dance again for repeat content. Because I'm also assuming that there's 0 shot that they would include all of PZ1's DLC animals in the sequel's base game, so this is the compromise I'm hoping is possible but probably isn't.
Isn't Planet Coaster 2 coming with all the DLC from the first game in base?
Well, I’m probably gonna be on the forum a bit less than normal. But still, here’s hoping Frontier throws me a bone and gives me my baby in the sequel:

Is it? If so, that's the best possible news I've heard today. I haven't played PC so I couldn't really comment, but I remember people saying there was no DLC content in the initial reveal, and then more recently I asked again and someone said there was a bit included in the new footage, but I read that as I was falling asleep so I don't remember the specifics. Honestly this lack of confirmation was what was keeping me from speculating too hard about PZ2 either way.
Not a single building theme from PC got into PC2. On the other hand rides are better in such regard, but still looks like few are missing so far.
Huh that's interesting, I definitely heard about the rides at least. I guess its harder to come up with new themes? Who knows, either way once the game is out we will have a model for PZ2 in a way.
