Lets hope we get a great South America start with the base game of PZ2. Including some wonderful parrots. That would make up for a lot, even for me non-bird lover.
i will never buy it because of the rhea, so yeah this was a really terrible pack, lol.
Seeing how great (beside the elephant lol) the Asia Pack is, I am really now on the track, that the America Pack was not good, not at all. Who taught this will be a good pack lol? Really hope that South America gets his prime in Planet Zoo 2 with incredible animals und incredible parrots, flying around in aviaries.

Yeah, it hasn't even been three months and this pack has not aged well. The Bighorn Sheep is fine on its own, but we really should have had it instead of the Dall Sheep from the very beginning. The Greater Rhea was a good choice, especially considering we needed to round off the ratites, but the model was just a reskin of the Common Ostrich for the most part. And the Coyote, when people talk about this game having too many dogs? This is exactly what they mean. The biggest point I'm willing to give this pack is that it gave us four South American animals, and that it finally broke the curse of Frontier being terrified to add another New World primate, but they can only do so much.
They could have done better just like You said. Even among NA species there were better choices like @USzoofan42 pointed out. And leaving out the coati for absolutly no reason (there was no huge technical dificulty with it that i can think of) was as much as a bad decition as adding a third elephant in a final pack. Pack should've been LATAM and not Americas as a whole but even as just Américas the animal selection should've been better, starting by not ignoring the number one most requested animal from that region. Without it (even though i got my precious rhea and the pretty ocelote and a new cute NWM) what was even the point of this pack lol
