Yeah they fumbled really hard here.
Model wise the legs, neck and head are perfect, but those wings are just something really sad to look at.
Edit: everything else looks great though, will see more videos just to watch the bush dog more, as the deep diving sounds cool, still kinda bitter my most wanted animal end up like this.

Giving the bush dogs a splooting animation is insane (plus diving and burrows?? And sitting?? Omg??) - they did not need to go that hard but they did. This might be my favorite carnivoran in the entire game now (it’s wild that canids never had a sitting animation before this though lol).
If only they put that much effort into the rhea, but at least I could not be happier with the bush dog. One of those animals I never knew I needed but it’s easily the highlight of the pack for me now along with the flamingo and saki (the rhea would be too, but oh well)

Sorry for the double post besties (and the low quality phone image) but as someone who loves building older classical zoos these are some of the best pieces I’ve gotten in a while - they’re making my mouth water they seem so yummy.
Dont have real time to watch the review atm, but from the short clips ive seen the bushdog seems to be on devil rig, atleast i think i recognized the splooting and sitting animations

Rhea is not as bad as it seems in game. Main issue is still the wings feathers in a very ostrich like distribución. Flow should be similar to what the flamingo feathers look like. Hope they fix it, because that fix alone would improve it a lot.
Flamingo looks fantastic. Never using the greater flamingo again until gets a revamp lol the chick looks so cute!!
Ocelot tail is too short
Big horn neck is too short
Bush dog face structure Indeed needs some tweaks. At some angles looks more like a mustelid than a canids.
Saki is fantastic. It Indeed has sexual dimorphism and the female looks awesome as well. Super ugly baby but they are like that in real life.

Glad to see many of the community fears like coyotes missing their iconic sounds or Saki’s sexual dimorphism were unjust. Not that I thought they wouldn’t.
Especially the case with Saki. Like I know the current atmosphere is very anti-Frontier but common.
The biggest issue remains the Rhea wings in my opinion, the rest would be just nit-picks from me.

The new grass, metal lamp posts, fences and brackets look really useful, everything else that’s really colourful like the confetti I don’t really see myself using that much. Gotta admit nice touch though making a confetti throwing special effect.

Yeah they deffinetly need to fix the bush dog face but OMG the amount of work they put into it... Still don't understand why no coati. Is not like they didn't put effort in the animals. Is even more baffling the abscence of the coati. Is the whole sifaka situation again. Do they hate us you think?

And I hope the work on the wing thing for the Rhea. What they can do for the emu and cassowary I hope the Rhea gets it. Genuinely the pack looks good, still it’s amazing how versatile the bush dog is and we still got the coyote.
Well either way we got both, and I’m sure I will use both canids.
The problem.with that is that emu and cassowary don't have wings. But flamingo does and it still looks amazing. They should do the same they did with it with the rhea.
Completely agree with this, especially regarding the pampas grass.
Saying that, I love the daffodils.
I’m feeling better about the animals now and the bighorn is now going to be a focal point of my new zoo.
But the scenery pieces overall are a big disappointment for me. Too much theme park, not enough zoo.
