Don't worry, we also announced that update 1.1 (alongside this paid content) is full of free new content and bug fixes. The team are working super hard to continue making improvements to the game and fixing issues that have been reported. That doesn't stop, the two things are handled separately. And we are very dedicated to post-launch support and community feedback. If you have any bugs in particular you have been experiencing, are they already on the Issue Tracker? I'm happy to pass on some feedback and see if anything you mention will be fixed in 1.1![]()
Thanks for your reaction Bo, but you can't deny that it is really frustrating when you buy a game with multiple bugs, its really strange that while that bugs ar not fixed that game introduces a new DLC pack.
On the fixes coming with the free update, we can't assume that this update will fix the many bugs, being there that the (before) last update made more problems wich did not exist before that update.
Of course we wouldn't deny that, Mike! We've been super active on all of our channels to make sure you, and others who are experiencing issues, are being heard and we are addressing your feedback as quickly as possible. Check out the free update next week, and if there's any pesky bugs that still occur in your game, please do tell us via the forums or Issue Tracker - we'd love to help you ASAP.
I honestly stopped reporting on the issue tracker. There's no feedback whatsoever, even re bugs from Beta. If you contribute to one issue, you cannot track that. Your patch notes so far are not very detailed (or there's no detailed version; two versions the better choice imo) to see if a specifc bug has been adressed by a patch. Are there any internal plans to develop this tool further?Of course we wouldn't deny that, Mike! Thanks for the support! It was not removed from the base gamethere's a dedicated team working on content, as well as everyone working on continued bug fixes, community content, and other improvements. Update 1.1 will be the next big step!
Just a perspective:
Hearts of Stone for the W3 cost $10 USD. Imagine the amount of content there.
How to define if something is worth the money? I guess it's subjective. I don't think supporting the practice of $10 USD DLC with 4 animals and 200 assests is the correct decision. If everyone does that, what will we get in the future?
I also don't like an indirect assumption that financing the company by purchasing the DLC is a way to say thank you for a big update, or even updates.
Most likely. Probably for another 5 USD or so.

Hi Bo - I have an Issue Tracker bug I'd love to know if it's being addressed, or can be, in the next update. Could you let me know? It would be most appreciated. This is the issue:
webapp
issues.frontierstore.net
It's about staff not getting trained in sandbox mode. It used to work but hasn't since 1.0.3.
Thanks!
So how many DLC packs does Frontier plan on making for Planet Zoo?
One every month? Two months? Three months?

I know I'm a freak. but I would be happy with 1 every monthImagine what a wide range of animals we'd have after a year. But the masses will probably scream then. One every 3 month sounds bout like the content strategy Planco had, I believe. Sims has it as well, more or less.
