🐾Planet Zoo Conservation Pack: Axolotl 🐾
I must say it's probably one of my favorite animals in exhibits right now! The Color variations! 💚
Really nice. I wonder though if we'll also get other Variations for them because they are similar to common ones but still a bit on the unusual Side

I agree with others, I am happy to see proper colour variations for these guys, glad PZ team made their homework. I love them, they are so cute. I was actually thinking about getting a pair of these irl, as they are supposedly easier to keep.
Want to get some too someday and maybe even breed. I recommend the YouTube Channel Soda Pets. You can learn a lot about Axolotl there👍

I am very happy that we get them 🙂. After we got the Danube crested Newt I lost a bit my hope that we will get Axolotls. I hope we will also get a chameleon and a gecko in future packs. And perhaps a mantis would be cool. I find these really a bit scary 😀
All of those Exhibit Animals are definitely needed. Really weird that we didn't get a single Chameleon Species yet

Nice that we're getting some colour variation with these guys! Though, the colouring on the one at the back is a bit too light; the wild-type axolotl colouring is almost black naturally, and only greenish in certain lights. They nailed the freckled leucistic though.
I agree that it should be darker. I wonder if we will get more additional Color Variations for it because we got the freckled leucistic Axolotl because the normal leucistic Axolotl seems to be way more common. Would be cool if we could also get the yellow Variation

Most leucistic and albino axolotls gain freckles with age so it's actually more common. However I somehow doubt we'll have a huge amount of colour variation - the leucistic one might just be the "albino" of the species, like the golden boa constrictor (which I've only ever found once 😭).

Thanks, didn't know that they often get them when they reach a high Age. I would be happy already with a better wild colored, leucistic and yellow one. Don't necessarily need to have every existing Variation in the Game. I hope they can adjust the Frequency at which they appear on the Market for this Species. If not, I hope the wild Colored one will at least be the Standard Variation because most Players probably want to show those in their Zoos. Also only got the golden Boa Constrictor 2 or 3 Times on the Market and never found a single golden Yellow Anaconda. So hard to get the Mutations for the Exhibit Animals. I think for Animals that are usually kept as Pets, they should increase how likely it is to find them. Can you even breed them from normal colored Animals? Had not a single Albino or leucistic Exhibit Animal being born so far despite the Fact that I was already playing since Day 1 of the Beta and I think even built Breeding Centers for them in the Hope that I'll get some through breeding

All of us have their own preferences. I am so happy we finally got the Scimitar oryx it was one of my most requested species. Looking at the popularity of the antelope species in zoo’s around the world and their diversity I still don’t think we have enough of them.

There are so many amazing antelopes that I think we could still use - at least 5 more of them.
But now we’ve received Scimitar oryx so the one that I think is still crucial to the roster is Addax. We lack desert species and Addax tick all the boxes: it’s critically endangered, distinct, beautiful and from desert/shrubland environment - biome that is still neglected in the roster.

I hope it will come with very anticipated and often mentioned Desert / Middle East animal pack. It would be easy to make and would enhance the game in my opinion.

Other desert species that could be included in that pack are: Dromedary, Hamadryas baboon, Caracal, Striped hyena, critically endangered Somali wild donkey, Secretary bird and Honey badger.
For me too the addax would have been better, but the scimitar oryx is still beautiful and a strong addition.

I think it depends a lot of genetics. I used to babysit some ancient axolotls (well into their teens) and they were still completely clear skinned. One was leucistic and the other was a true albino.

Would be nice if we could get a completely white one then too

Look at all this goodness! I just can't wait to get this dlc

So true. We've been begging for these basic zoo pieces for our zoo game since the beginning and I really hope it doesn't end here and we'll get even more. There's still so much we need I doubt they could all of it fit into this pack.
Exactly this. And though I’m excited to receive some much needed backstage pieces, PZ could still use a lot more. Especially when you consider the small piece count the Conservation Pack has compared to previous packs. It will only have around 150 pieces, where the Europe Pack for example had over 250. Grateful for all the things the devs have cooked up for us, but there is definitely still room for improvement.

But it also depends on how many of the pieces are recolourable. I believe that all those buckets and plastic things are flexicolour, so that could make up for some pieces that were in other packs but just had slightly distinct textures. (Don't get me wrong, more would always be great!)

I think either the devs are running out of ideas for building assets or the free 10 update has lots of items to compensate for it (education stations, small habitat gates, shop counters and signs)

So great. Even more Vegetables. Wish though they would also give us organic Versions of the Bananas, Apples and Oranges instead of just having Plastic Versions of those. Never use them because they look just way too unrealistic.
Really nice Stuff on that Picture 👍

Potatoes CONFIRMED
Finally it's possible to properly build a Zoo in Ireland 🙃
I'll call it The big Potato Farm and it will mostly show different kinds of Potatos but also a few Animals like Peafowl 🥔🦚
