Planet Zoo console edition?

If they decide to release the Planet Zoo game for consoles, I'm guessing they'll release it this year or next year. I have based on what happened with the Planet Coaster's game:

The Planet Coaster's game came out for PC on November 17, 2016. And the console version came out on November 10, 2020 (except for PS5 which came out on November 19).

Planet Zoo came out in November 2019, and following the example of Planet Coaster and whenever they decide to make a version for consoles, it would be reasonable to think that it could come out this year or next.

I hope they are encouraged to release Planet Zoo for consoles

I beg of you please just get a Steam Link / Steam Controller lol, it’s much better than a console and allows for your graphics to be much better.

- Any plans for for zoo to go on console?

- This is I'd say it's a Never Say Never. Again, the pdlc is doing well. It's really what we do is we look at all our opportunities and staff rank them. And you know again, I think our investment in warham age of Sigma is going to be if that's just really really exciting and some of the other games that we're developing which we can't confirm or deny would probably give some color to the question so yeah, but Mary media announcements,

- it's the animals, isn't it? that still attended

- There is a technical. Yeah again, I didn't want to really where you get into my area now. Yeah, those animals are incredibly beautiful, you know the amount of fidelity on them. So, you know, it would be difficult to bring them to the I know the Gen 8 consoles to be honest. And so maybe when the console Market develops a bit more and everybody is transitioned from gen 8 to gen 9 that would really feed into the equation because whatever we do if it comes to console it has to be absolutely stand out, you know, we don't want to do any compromises and the behavior and the look the animation of those animals is absolutely key.

- It's also worth saying that in a zoo each animal is different not just it looks visually different than behave differently and the AI for all those animals to get that natural level of behavior interaction is a key thing. And as Johnny's rightly said the gen 8 consoles wouldn't necessarily do a great job. They do a great job of a small number of animals, but people love to fill their zoo with every one of every animal and five of every animal. Yeah, and it just begins up being a big, you know technical challenge to get that performant. And so we've got to look at that. But yeah at some point there will be a natural time to do so.

- Okay cool. Thank you
Small reminder.

When we talk about advanced building yes. Jurassic world was simplified because consoles were the main focus.

it seem like planet zoo is much more advanced than JWE, i didnt know all this

I'm really hoping they decide to release Planet Zoo for consoles soon. Looking at the timeline of Planet Coaster's release for PC in 2016 and the console version in 2020, it seems plausible that we might see Planet Zoo on consoles this year or the next. 🤞🤞Fingers crossed for an announcement!
