❄️ Planet Zoo: Europe Pack arriving 14 December ❄️

That new pathway shown in the trailer looks really nice. Loving the new scenery!

Also, now with the Ibex, the entire original roster of ZT2 is represented which is really cool.
I'm a bit sad over the exclusion of the wolverine, because now I feel its ship has sailed.

But that Ibex looks beautiful so I am fine
Doesn't have to be, just like the Red deer may still be coming. After all, continental Asia is also still missing... I'm smelling red deer, wolverines, przewalski horses... perhaps musk oxen or takin... amur leopards of course, chiru or saiga... and a sniff of wild boar. :p

So the "brown animal with smooth fur" was the fallow deer all along! The otter drama can stop for now 😂
And it works for me as a Southern Europe animal, so no problem with choosing the Eurasian lynx instead of the Iberian. Although I would have preferred it with its dense winter coat, but well (y)

Now I just hope some of the new foliage is from Mediterranean climate and it has the right biome tags.

So that's what the shop update was for, it was right in front of us! To create typical German Christmas markets! It fits the winter DLC theme just perfect.

Looks like it is, but I can see people getting off the boat, So I suspect it is used as a park entrance.
That would be cool. Public transport as zoo entrance is always good (and better than mysterious underground tunnels)

Yay, finally its Europes turn❤️
I wish it would have been an animal pack - but I guess the builders would have rioted, then😆

The trailer is awesome as always and the lynx and ibex look so amazing. Cant wait to see the rest aswell and, of course put them in my zoos🤩

So Frontier, thanks for your hard work and please continue to support PZ for many more years😇 This is my christmas wish🎄

Well if nothing else this solves the eternal argument over whether or not there’ll be a European DLC. Thank you for including us!

It’s a nice lineup, relatively coherent and I’m as pleased as I can be with a very limited selection of animals. With only four habitat animals there’ll always be something missing but these four work well together.

The Eurasian lynx is the second most common cat species held in European zoos so it makes perfect sense to include it. And it looks fantastic.

All these animals are found in the Alps and in Central European zoos/wildparks to some degree.

I like the inclusion of the badger but I can think of better choices for a zoo game and better choices for a very limited four species selection. Dare I say it, the Eurasian otter for example…

I’m thrilled with the ibex and it looks great.

Not sure about the building pieces, a lot of it seems a bit Epcot rather than zoo but I will reserve judgment until I see it all in game and figure out what we can do.

It looks fantastic! I'm so happy to have a lynx and an ibex for the mountains of my taiga wildpark zoo, and I'm already imagining adding a lovely, cost cozy hedge row exhibit for the fallow deer and the badger. The salamander will be a fantastic addition to its reptile and amphibian room.

And the scenery! Those lights are delightful, and the freedom of vendor counters is going to kick my tent-based food stalls up to the next level.

Thank you, Frontier for this wonderful update!

OOOHHH... AAAHHH..... Am I the only one more excited for the building pieces and the fire salamander?? I mean come on... It is frontiers very first salamander!! lets give Sal the Salamander some Love here!! lol.

I am VERY curious if it will be like the Diamondback Terrapin and American Bullfrog with static swimming animations or... if it will be more like the frogs that just kinda sit there.... grrr... suspense is killing me here!!! Hoping there is the swimming animations.

As a German I just have to say that: Yay, Christmas markets!!!

Although an aviary pack would have excited me more at this point, I'm glad we finally have a Europe pack which means all continents now were visited at least once. :)
I really like the inclusion of the fallow deer and I'm glad it's not a third carnivore (nothing against carnivores but three out of four habitat animals would be little bit too boring). I'm still not a fan of the badger (I would have prefered the wolverine) but I'm happy that every badger lover got their animal. the fire salamander is great as it adds a totally new kind of exhibit animal. And lynx and ibex, we don't have to talk about these inclusions, they were no brainers.
The builiding pieces look really great and I think they can be useful in non-themed areas, too.
Maybe not my favourite pack but a little better than I expected. :)
