Planet Zoo: Oceania Pack and Free Update 1.15 Out Now! 🐧

Not going to lie, I was really hoping this new scenario was going to have at least one or two empty enclosures to start building off of. Spent a few minutes panning around the map wondering where to even start before I gave up and closed the game.

Hope everyone is enjoying the pack so far!

Just curious -- anything unexpectedly cool/useful stand out to anyone? For me, it was the faux trees. Not quite sure how I'll use them yet, but thinking I might add a few of them into a crocodilian swamp habitat. I also was surprised how much I love the Kiwi. I built a small leafy habitat for a pair of them and loved watching them hop through the grasses and occasionally tumble over before righting themselves. Looking forward to building for the other animals later.

Oceania wasn't my preferred choice for the DLC. But like most of the DLCs for PZ, I'm quickly growing to love it!

Edit — Pls ignore my comment about the faux trees!! I think I saw them listed under the Oceania continent tag and mistakenly assumed they were part of the DLC in a fit of irrational exuberance!

A good excuse to buy some little chocolates after work, in honour of our new friends 😉

  • Fixed capitalized letter inconsistencies in Education Board and TV Screen for Asian Small-Clawed Otter and Boa Constrictor
  • Fixed Planco and scientific names being inverted on Education Board and TV screen for the Common Wombat
  • Removed the temperate biome icon on the Giant Otters education board and TV display
Very happy to see these small changes. I think we finally have almost all education boards/tv images correct, except the following animals which are missing the aquatic biome icon: African buffalo, the 2 elephants, Indian rhino, jaguar and Nile monitor (https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/58716)

Other thing that has not been fixed yet is adding the Africa tag to the red deer:
The Red Deer is one of the largest deer species, inhabiting most of Europe along with Northern Africa and West Asia, and is widespread enough to be considered Least Concern status. We're really excited to see the kinds of habitats you create for them in your zoos!

Also, in update 1.14 you fixed this:
Changed 'North America' to 'Central America' in Colombian White-Faced Capuchin Monkey's Zoopedia page
But the North America tag is still present in the Capuchin monkey. You only fixed this in the written list of continents, but not reflected the change on the tags of the animal.

I'm just pointing all this because I know you are doing a great job fixing many of these issues. I'm very happy with update 1.15 and the new pack, so I hope this post is not read as a complain, but just as a collaboration to help improving the game in future updates.

Which are they? I didn’t have much time to play yesterday so just had a quick look at everything but don’t remember those.

Got home late yesterday and got the pack. Scenery in this pack is outstanding, it is exactly what I imagined, those fences, driftwood pieces and plants are amazing. All of scenery pieces are amazing really, I would give it 10/10 for scenery pieces. I know about volcanic rocks not being flexicolour, it doesn't really bother me. Plants are lovely, it is amazing that we got more new grass.

Now, animals in this pack. It is nice with amazing details on each animals however, they are not really exciting for me since those animals have rare holdings in zoos outside their region which is a drawback for me. Tasmanian Devil is amazing, details on this animal is astounding.

Overall, this pack is a great pack with amazing scenery, animals roster is okay for me.

I placed a viewing dome in one of my habitats and the guests are no longer viewing the habitat elsewhere, just the dome. They turn around if it's occupied and don't stay to view the habitat from another point. Is this happening to anyone else?

This pack is amazing just as all before it in my opinion.

But please remember @Lydiah Moon that not everyone of us is a builder so it would be amazing if you could provide us with exact fully build maps shown in trailers. I was so moved by the Tropical pack and Oceania pack trailers and the scenario maps was nothing like it.

Some of us would like to just move our animals into beautiful ready made zoos. It would be amazing if we could finally get them one day 🙏🏽 Especially the Tropical pool which was amazing in the trailer and was not in the scenario map.

I was a bit disappointed with this DLC when it was announced and wasn't sure if I would buy it straight away, but I decided to get it anyway to show my support for the game and get the new animals.
Well... I'm prepared to eat humble pie. I love this pack so much. The scenery is GORGEOUS, and the animals look just fantastic. I'm surprised by how much I love the kiwi bird! I thought it was kind of boring at first (sorry kiwi people), but gosh, he's so cute! I can see that he's going to be making an appearance in all my zoos from now on...

The viewing dome is a great new feature. The entrance door is a bit of a lump but hopefully some clever people will make some nice blueprints out of it soon (not me, I am a hopeless builder.)

But a question, if I may. Does anyone where I can find the lava stuff? I've tried searching 'lava' in all the tabs looking for it, and I can't find it anywhere!

😃🥳 can't wait to play. I'll finally get my Money soon, I thought about having 35€ per Month dedicated as Entertainment Budget and I will get the Money for 4 Months at once, so I will be able to buy all 9 Packs that I'm still missing at once.
Even better considering the Discount for the old Packs. Does anyone know for how long after the Release of the new DLC they are usually discounted?😊

By the following pack, recent dlcs can see a 10-20 percent discount with I'd say half a year at least before any expected deeper discounts like the rest.
You missunderstood my Question and I've just noticed it from reading it again how easily this can happen. What I actually wanted to know, was how long the old DLCs remain discounted after the Release of a new one
