Planet Zoo: PC Edition - 1.17.1 Update

I cannot express my happiness and surprise you actually fixed the donkey stripe that fast!
I am in awe and this rises the quality of the pack overal to me!

Seeing the comments here I will surely sound like that annoying equinelover but you chose to give stripes only to the darker donkeys while the light ones are missing it, while in real it's quite the exact opposite 😅
The light ones have the cross visible while the dark ones can have it so subtle and mixed with the dark fur it's not visible at all.

At this point it would be better to let them all to have it, more visible or more subtle but not miss it entirelly imo 🤔

But I am still superhappy you actually find it important to add, I thought not many people will agree with me it's THE important species morphology, but it's like not giving white dots on the fallow deer fur to me.

And please correct me if it's already implemented in game but the stripe is programmed an opacity slider to be less or more visible on the same color for variety and players didn't find our yet-

My Clouded Leopards are still bugged. (Added a save to the bug report here on the issue tracker.) :/ But I did notice it only happens once you add trees or shelter or climbable objects to the habitat, so I wonder if that's a clue? Other than that I am really loving the new DLC.

Anyone else think the highland cow is slightly bigger? The 80 percent size is now higher than last time I checked, making it a whole lot more similar to the real cow.

Just for size comparison: A farmer with his highland bul

I know you do. Since you mentioned the size and lots of people think (as I initially did) that the highland cattle should be much taller, I thought this might be a good place to show the size in relation to a human.
There are different Breeds though. Normal Highland Cattle, large Highland Cattle and Miniature Highland Cattle

Despite not having any contributions by other users, my reports on the issue tracker about the lack of donkey noises and the lack of goat mountain for the Alpine goat have been confirmed and acknowledged by Frontier. I'm not sure what it means, but maybe someone at Frontier is working for fixing those things.

Donkey Sounds are definitely needed. How else is my Sheeps Guardian supposed to keep Predators away before they even enter the Enclosure?🙃🫏🐑🐑🐑🐏
I think I didn't even hear them make a single Sound yet.
As far as I know adult domesticated Goats aren't as good at climbing as their Ancestors, but you still got a Point because the Goat Climbing Mountain doesn't look that extreme. They could probably realistically climb that🐐🐐
Thanks for sharing the Links. The Tickets seem to become less useful due to low Contribution, but I really want them to fix that.
But for some Reason Inaccuracies like that don't seem to be likely to be fixed. All the Animals from the Pack are still claimed to be Species in the Zoopedia (Babirusa is probably also still claimed to be a Breed🙄) and I'm also still waiting for completely wrong Social Structures like that of the Ring Tailed Lemur to be fixed🙄😴

Just posted the first Contributions for both Tickets. I hope more People will do that

They should've really turned this into a proper Barrier. It takes a Eternity to build with it, especially if you do it on uneven Ground. It looks so nice though 😊
Edit: the Sheep should also have Interspecies Enrichment with the Llama. It's nice that the other two Animals that can be used to protect the Herd are listed though (Donkey and Alpaca). Llama was probably just forgotten

Welcome to the world of custom fences, much more patience is traded for a far superior look in the long run

I wish there'd be an option where you could merge all the pieces into one. I mean really one piece that you can't ungroup anymore. That would solve the piececount struggle.
But I wouldn't want to trade it for the normal grouped-custom-item-thingy we have now. I would want it as a seperate option.
