Planet Zoo Update 1.10.1 is out now!

My koala has climbed a log and has stayed there still for a while! I had never seen that before and it looked so cool with the koala moving the head
on the log. They are climbing a lot now. Thanks for this too :)

Loving the fact that the Koala now actually spends time climbing! This could definitely open up the possibility of more arboreal animals!
 
Does anyone know if the problem with trade centre has been fixed? I'm not home until Sunday to check this. Was hoping it would be fixed by time im back from holiday. Currently have a break from the heat in turkey 🇹🇷 🔥
 
General Bug Fixes and Improvements
  • Animals
    • Re-scaled the Bactrian Camel and adjusted its offset to correct its size
    • Increased frequency of swimming and climbing for a number of animals when exploring their habitat
    • Fixed animals becoming suspended in mid-air when deleting a climbing frame just before they start climbing
    • Fixed animals walking through air when dismounting a climbing frame
    • Fixed an issue where the Koala would not climb trees in its habitat
    • Fixed Axolotl swimming above the water surface in its exhibit when performing its swim animation
    • Fixed Siamangs not brachiating between connected beams correctly, allowed brachiation to occur between beams connected at a range of angles, alongside the straight angle provided when using position snap
    • Fixed a few minor issues with Siamang animations while brachiating and transitioning between linked beam

Sadly, it looks like these were not included in this update. Hopefully in the next one?

I can report that the specific Franchise bug that came with 1.10 still exists, after this 1.10.1 update, where having an animal up for trade with a long species name (such that the species name gets abbreviated with "...") will block the ability to trade any other animal so long as the first one is visible in the window. (I'm not a tech expert, but I'm led to believe that the issue is any time that it's still registering as an "active script"(?), so in some cases this may also include one or two rows above or below what you can actually see.) Thankfully, the work-arounds where we need to re-sort the list and scroll until the offending animal is no longer visible (and/or re-sort and scroll until the active script is no longer registering?) do seem to work, at least as well as they did before.

The updates that have been included all look really nice though! So we'll hold our breath that the trade center problems are on the devs' radar, but just taking a bit more time to implement.
