Planet Zoo - 1.16.1 Update Notes

This update contains bug fixes.


General Bug Fixes and Adjustments
  • Fixed an issue with save corruption that could happen when using Modular Souvenir Shop expansion tiles. These saves should now work and be fixed upon loading
Stability
  • Fixed various crashes, improving game stability

You may also remember from our last patch notes that we were looking at updating the conservation status of the Saiga antelope (Saiga tatarica) in the Zoopedia, in line with a recent change in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List. This change is currently pending and will be included in our next update, coming soon!

Really nice. Excited to continue my Zoo and add a Souvenir Shop. I wonder what the next Update will include besides the Saiga Update 😃

I can relate. I can never start a zoo without an entrance and now had a giftshop planned for the entrance of a section and all work I did in that section without really did not turn out good. Will start over with it.

Don’t forget the scimitar-horned oryx and fire salamander too!

I don't play Franchise and haven't had any issues with the gift shops in career, challenge or sandbox BUT I will still say thank you! The festive period wasn't exactly merry over at Frontier with the job losses and restructuring. Adding the crashes and bugs onto that wouldn't have helped but you've/they've delivered a fix and heard what the community has had to say. That community is also behind the Planet Zoo team 100% and I certainly look forward to seeing what treasures you/they bring to us this year and perhaps beyond! 😊😊
