Usually there was always a post on sunday if I remember correctly, but this time we are too far away from release to cover everything with a screenshot + dev diary anyway, so that might be it.

Since there's no new screenshots or news today, why don't we talk about this? One is a game entering it's 3rd year in life, the other was released less than 6 months ago. I don't recall many times, if ever, Planet Zoo has dipped into the low 2k number of players.
One of the best reasons we have to believe Planet Zoo will continue to see updates and dlc beyond this year is the total failure that JWE2 has become, at least as it stands right now. Yes, it's numbers are slightly boosted by console players. But the fact remains that Frontier can count on PZ to be a steady revenue stream for them, for, frankly at least 2 years after we're finished with this year's four dlc and updates.
Don't worry, I'm just being cheeky. I'm not really expecting anything else for free.
But I'm pretty sure some really do and I just can't see it ever happen, honestly. And I kinda get Frontier can't give us animals for free regularly. Or anything for free. For me the Jurassic World Evolution games are like fast food. It's fun to plop down some buildings, build the fences and the show begins. It's tasty for the moment, but...in the end...it doesn't satisfy the hunger for long.
Planet Zoo is like a well cooked meal. It takes so much time and sometimes you get exhausted but in the end, when everything comes into shape, the results feel so much more satisfying.
Nevertheless I am still hugely surprised how incredibly successful Planet Zoo does. It's the product of an unbelievably passioned team and a caring and devoted community. I am very happy that we have come so far and I hope for so much more in the future until a second installment gets released.

I actually love the seagull prop because it's so easy to use as a stand-in for a real gull. I would honestly love to see some similar prop for fish or inactive birds (like owls) in later packs.everyone talking about the red deer and dromedary decor but wb the seagull

Yeah, sure. But until the point at which we get them (which we might not) i'd love more props like the wood seagull
True, in my mind content is linked to objects / animals though, for whatever reason, while the free updates I'd translate with features. I know, just a silly mindset, but that's why I said we don't get free content. I was not dismissing the ususally awesome free updates. (Even if the next one and the last one wasn't for me)

i never figured out what the game concept of jwe is supposed to be, other than just merchandising the old 90's movie series where only the first movie was watchable anyway. has anyone discovered gameplay? and then the dinos don't even have feathers.^^hope the social media managers are practicing self care on their day off
I expect something and I don't expect something.
Basically, I am expecting a free, easy to make animal on the anniversary, but if we don't get anything, I'm not gonna be disappointed since it wasn't promised anyways
