Wirradale Zoo's Wild North America section is under way with a Coyote habitat!
In the valley of the beavers, they settled on a rocky steep slope of the markhor and takin. They have everything they need here, from a rocky hill for daily climbing training, through full of challenges, to a horny water cascade. The goats climb, the takin jump and we can watch them. Downstream in the Beaver Valley, a group of quokkas and a few platypuses have gathered. The quokkas scurry under the visitors' feet, enjoying running and hiding in the grass and teaching visitors to be superheroes. The platypuses enjoy underwater fun.
