Because it's Alec.So how do we know your scale is the right scale? I could photoshop that city taking up all of Africa if I wanted to.
Go measure it yourself. If you aren't willing to verify the claim do you reeaaalllly care about the answer? So how do we know your scale is the right scale? I could photoshop that city taking up all of Africa if I wanted to.
Someone else measured the diameter of the city for me last night and then I independently verified it myself this morning (basically by targetting things on one side of the city and then flying to the opposite side). The city is just a tad under 4km diameter (I'm going 4km for simplicity). So then I use the Google Earth measure facility to draw a line 4km long on one image (against which I resize the city image I'm overlaying) and then I overlay the city on the indentical image but without the meauring line visible. So how do we know your scale is the right scale? I could photoshop that city taking up all of Africa if I wanted to.
pix or it didn't happen. So how do we know your scale is the right scale? I could photoshop that city taking up all of Africa if I wanted to.
Here you go .. AthensRight, last one then please, from where I was born to where I am now...Athens, Greece! Drop the center right on Omonia Square, where the roads extend in spokes! Thanks so much Alec.
Looks exactly the same...Here you go .. Athens
Oooh, good one! (my favourite so far I think)Any chance you could plop it in the wet stuff next to Gibraltar?
(had some great nights out there over the years as well as the most difficult run I’ve ever done - I’d love to do the Gib Rock Race in Palin’s tenth-of-a-G )
In addition, those tower's or antenna that rise up above the terrain. On one of my descents to a engineer, the top of the antenna was almost 3k's.Interesting. Does it seem that the building in ED are much larger than normal buildings? They seem to take up several blocks each.
One more before the end of my lunchbreak (another one that works really well).Requesting a comparison to R'lyeh or El Dorado.
Nicely done.
Mr. Alex Turner ... there the base of Palin Spanish Flag (HA HA HA ) Ancient Atlantis is said as "mystery" would be further west in the area of Cadiz (Gades), not in GibraltarOooh, good one! (my favourite so far I think)
