Planetary landings impossible

I'm happy for the PC users that they can walk around, but we (PS4) have to install 1Gb for euh... not being able to land on planets, not being able to jump the carriers?

Any news from the developers on when this will be fixed?

Carriers is a temporary thing due to the server load. You should however be able to land on planets? What's happening exactly?

the planet I need to be for a mission is not landable anymore, no blue ring around it in system map, you just hit the exclusion zone and done, went to another planet as a test, the same thing.

went to a different system, yes landing is possible, so must be that that planet in that one system is glitched.

Yes. This is an issue I first assumed to be a known bug until I started seeing others raise it over the last 24hrs. I've just discovered my 4th ghost base since the launch. The first three were on a landable planet in Odyssey and I expect this one is too. I've been adding them to a tracker someone posted for PC Horizons.

The thing is, I've just been using an 80-100LY area of space so there could be thousands of these ghost bases out there, and people are generally discovering them after they've already taken missions they then have to fail. It really needs to be fixed.

I have had the same thing occurred to me. Whilst trying to complete a mission, I kept getting body exclusion zone hit warnings. It’s only because I looked at this form and I found out I can’t carry out the mission. And yes I have horizons and yes my PS4 has uploaded the update. Out of curiosity I’m letting my ship slowing edge closer to the base, just see if I can actually get to the base. It’s taking forever

nope after 40 minutes I could only get as close as 135km

I am having no issues with landing on planets... been to LOS most amusing location. The inability to land the mission may be the change of landscapes due to the update. Good luck with future missions o7

Are you also getting the Odyssey land sites on the Galaxy map, even whilst in Horizons? Plenty of corporate bases named now!

To be honest how would I recognise that? I suspect the instance I describe is possibly one of them, but without Odyssey being on consoles I have no way I saying yes or no. But thank you for polite enquiry.

Have you tried selling and rebuying the Planetary Landing module?
Yeah it shouldn't make a difference, but with the beta and all... might be worth a crack.

Might want to do it on a ship you dont care about, in case it glitches.
