Platform floats never work

I recommend looking at platform floats, becuase they always say 'needs a greater are of deep water surrounding it' even when in a gigantic deep lake all by itself.

At the moment, i've NEVER Gotten one of these to work, and the sheer size it apparently requires makes it unusuable since it's a absolute waste of space and its enrichment can be gotten through other things that don't take up so much room

Yes, this is a weird thing. The first time I used it, after the Aquatic Pack first dropped, I put it in with king penguins and they used it a lot. The next time I loaded the game, suddenly they didn't work anymore, and they've never worked since.

Frontier is constantly adjusting the hitboxes of animals for some reason, so it might be the problem. The bad part is, it creates alot of other problems that take forever to discover and even then, not enough people report it, so alot of problems are not fixed to this date. I think many people dont even notice it, because they place the enrichment then do not really observe. We should make a ticket to the issue tracker about this.

Just tested in game and took some photos for reference.

There is no way this should not be enough space for animals to use it, it has to be bugged. Worked fine when the Aquatic pack launched, not sure what changed. Please @Francesca Falcini and @Eltanin Casciani , could you bring this to the attention of the devs? Sorry for pinging you. :)

I also noticed the curio ball won’t work for my fennec foxes. Animals escaping and my zookeepers getting stuck more then they use to. If I could also add my gorillas do look pretty odd jumping over rocks instead of simply walking around them. Maybe this is a hit box issue or just the way the game works. I’m fine with it but it does look funny and odd.

I would love to, but unfortunately, I cannot access the issue tracker, my forum account is not correctly linked to it, or so I have been told. But if anyone else could use my screenshots and add it, I would be grateful.
