It's not fully confirmed yet. I think they'll not make it instant, cause 75% of the voters in forum polls don't want it.

FD has done absolutely nothing to encourage the right kind of PvP encounters, let alone in wings. Quite the opposite, PvP has been less common as of late than I can ever recall it being in ED.
This has proven to be an avenue FD is not interested in going down.
EDIT: I also can't believe the fun police are still harping on about instant ship transfer. If you don't want to transfer them instantly, don't. Some of us have lives to attend to and don't have entire days or weeks to spend undertaking a completely unnecessary, already-completed journey just so you can harp on about how realistic your fiction game is.

OP clearly has no intention of ever playing ED regardless of whatever content they add. According to the OP, the game is just one big grind. I personally do not believe it is, but we all have our own agendas of what we want from the game. You get from it what you give. If you are unwilling to be creative, then certainly this isn't the game for you.
