As the title states.
I would like to encourage commanders to visit my two Space port stations to celebrate myHouse warming Space Port opening party!.
The problem is that my Space Ports look rather drab for my Empire status so I'd like to spruce them up to give an opulent feel to the place for the visitors to be impressed.*
The Cosmetic upgrades I'm thinking about would be situated starting from as you climb the stairs up to the lifts from the ship hanger and into the main concourse.
I have many ridiculous ideas (to some) but one of my ideas would be based around water features, fish 'tanks', pools and waterfalls, initially. With a choice of our 'finny' friends, crustacea and water plants. With graphic animation and sounds to further fill out for effect.
I'll probably update this list / post as more ideas are forthcoming, but feel free to contribute your ideas too!
The payment could be either ARX or a substantial credit contribution for maybe a set of standard modules, these could be added to for the expansion and diversity of any creatures and plants the owner might think or desire which will enhance the global effect.
This is meant as a light-hearted discussion but of course you are also free to comment with your thoughts and ideas.
I personally think this would be more productive than the ship interiors, as more commanders would be attracted to the slightly easier access of your player built star ports, plus obviously commanders would be able to compare individual players interior designs to their own.
*I think there could be quite a lot of diversity here, and players would have the ability to further 'construct' the stations for a much more individual feel inside them and give more of that feeling of 'home' (which I think doesn't quite hit the mark as stations stand at the moment) to some players interior builds.
My Idea of cosmetics based on water features btw is just one, this is a personal preference, you might base yours on....
...say for instance (idea just plucked out of the either) animal based, dogs cats or other mammals etc. (dog kennel and certain species of dog, cat baskets and cats or reptilian etc. as 'pets' that periodically roam the concourses'
you might just settle with a set of pictures denoting your gained ranks or trophy's for your status within the main factions. Or a cosy armchair and a log burning fireplace!
